The restaurant is lacking in any sort of Japanese decor, or even Asian, for that matter. No one who works there is Asian, unlike several other themed restaurants. Though the staff were friendly and cordial enough. The dishes offered were par for the course, and weren't bad. But the restaurant had more of a feel of a small '80s pizza hangout than an outreach of the Orient. And they did NOT have any sushi or even wasabi. This particular fact was an acute disappointment. Lastly, an Asian buffet that is also in town had prices that matched or were superior to what is available here. Except the variety is greater, and you can FEEL that you are in an Asian restaurant. Showing something on TV from Japan would have helped considerably here. That said, it has good positioning, with a church on the opposite corner, and the restaurant is located in the same building as a laundromat. If only the advantage had been pressed further...

Easily the best Asian food in the county. Don't waste your time with any of the other mediocre Japanese takeout places. The meat is always perfectly cooked and seasoned expertly. The rice is always fluffy and delicious and their yum yum sauce is the best in the business. The location is a little out of the way but it is well worth it.

I ordered Noah’s from DoorDash and got the steak and chicken and accidentally ordered both rice and noodles. The protein was great and cooked well. The mushrooms and carrots were good. The noodles were a bit overcooked but I’ve never met a noodle I didn’t like so all good there. I’d definitely order here again.

I love the food. I love the service. The service is over the top and shocking every time I go there. Honestly... Lots of Love to y'all.

My favorite menu items are fried rice, carrots and chicken. I love both chicken flavors. I had the steak for the first time last year and it was really good. We normally get the largest fried rice size so that it'll last us a couple days. I pick the peas out of mine.

BUT something that I can't stand is the constant menu changes. The menu is different every single time we go there. The ingredients of the fried rice, meals and the prices change every time.

They don't post the menu online every time it changes with is also frustrating. I feel like they should post the new menu every few months or so. It only makes since. I'm tired of checking their Facebook page to check on the price changes only to see that I'll be forced to go into the restaurant with like $50 andgo back to the car to get more money because the prices changed AGAIN!!!! It's frustrating for me and my household. We haven't been in months because of it.

We sent our family our to get me some dinner once and we ended up shorting her when we paid her back because GUESS WHAT... THE PRICES CHANGED AGAIN.

She left our house angry and she's not an angry person but she was also on her way out of state for the holidays.

So PLEASE post the new prices and menus EVERY TIME YOU CHANGE IT!!!!!!!!!!

I know it's going shock people and upset them but it's best to be clear with customers from now on.

And one more thing. I wish that y'all would stop forcing that "yum" sauce or whatever is called on folks. We don't eat it in our household. We throw it out...

Edit The review at the bottom is from when they were located in Roberdal. Now that they are on HWY 74 in town there is way more parking. I've only been to the Rockingham location once, and didn't pay attention to the new prices, but I do know my family paid more here than we do at Chiba for the same stuff. The staff was way more impersonable this time since there were so many customers; it was very fast paced. When they were located in Roberdal there were no other customers and the staff was super friendly and kind.

I ate here for the first time with my two children today. We had Hibachi chicken with mushrooms and carrots. The food was great, the shrimp sauce was the best that I've ever had. The staff were super friendly and kept checking in on us. The prices were right on point ($8.99 for my plate, a couple bucks for a side of rice and side of carrots for my children...we all share so they get meat and I get more rice and veggies). I got mine with those two veggies, but I was under the impression that they didn't care if I switched to zucchini and onions or broccoli and carrots...I appreciate that they do that unlike the other Hibachi restaurant in town that is very similar. They had a deal for "2 hungry people" that was like $25 and it included plenty of the veggies that you wanted. Seems like a deal that would feed my whole family. We may try it the next time we are all near that area. I just hate they aren't closer to town; it is a bit...
