Well, I've been around, and I know my food, menus, prices and VALUE. So while Adalbertos is good/delicious, let's face it the prices are high like everywhere the past 2 years or more. I'm new to Adalbertos Folsom, moved here January, I'm just 2 blocks over. In March I came in one quiet rainy weeknight. Ordered 2 wet bean burritos to go -- super easy right? The lobby staff was one woman who came and went about 3 times after taking my order (but this nite she "went" more than came back out). And the young guy was two feet over tending to the silverware the entire time. 20-25mins later the lady came out & she didn't hide her surprise -- I was still waiting for 2 BEAN Burritos no meat. 25minutes. The guy was like, uhhhh..... and I knew right there there was a mess up by their whispered exchange. My food was ready probably 15-20mins prior. There was an apology but I felt cheated. I feel One burrito should have been reimbursed or they should have had the Manager validate my receipt for a return visit for a like item, something. Why? Because sure enough when I got home 60seconds later & popped the kids (no foil) the food was cold. Not warm not lukewarm, but cold to barely lukewarm. No sides or chips&salsa thrown in the box, but $19 dollars for two cold wet burritos. I haven't been back since. Not a good value. Not the best customer...
Read moreTerrible! Adalbertos used to be excellent, but in the past 3-4 months the food is nowhere as good. Completely different in taste and appearance. Cutting corners by adding the fatty meat pieces to the dishes. Either extremely salty or no season at all. Burrito falls apart because they can't roll a proper burrito. Beans are literally pink colored and watery, so the form of burrito does not hold together. Recently the beans look like Rosarita can beans with tons of salt and water. Plus didn't mind the prices going up if the food was good, but only declined. Had the #24 breakfast burrito which was obviously boiled french fries with "no salt" or no seasoning at all, potatoes looked like a soggy onion strip!!! The potatoes in the burritos before were the best, I don't know what happened to this place. Bacon in burrito is so soggy it must be sitting under a heat lamp. The shrimp dish taste and smells like old shrimp definitely not fresh! We have had so many different dishes, but none the same as before. It went from being the best Mexican food in Rocklin to the worst we have ever had. We used to eat her 1 to 2x/day for about 4 years straight, but will never return until we start seeing good reviews again. Recently we have been seeing bad reviews, so we are not the only ones who disagree with Adalbertos! Adalbertos where is your quality control?...
Read moreI will never order from this location again! Two days in a row I tried ordering breakfast. First day I sat at the menu board waiting to order but no response, so I drove forward thinking they were closed. No, there were two cars ahead of me. So I backed up to the menu board again, sat there no response. I left. I called later and the woman said they’ve been having issues with the speaker. Understandable! Today, I tried to order breakfast for my coworkers and myself. It was a failure. Sign says open! I sat at the board waiting for response and nothing. Day prior the woman I spoke with mentioned making a sign stating pull forward if speaker was broken, but no sign. I pulled forward and sat at window. No one in sight. I went back around, sat at board and of course nothing. Went to window again and sat there. No need to explain I still didn’t get help. Another day and I wasted my time trying to order from this place. Honestly, I really don’t care for this place. I tried their carne asada burrito a couple months ago and it was so dry. It’s just frustrating trying to order from a place that states it open but never being able to order. Horrible customer service and very...
