Hate to be a Karen but…We were looking forward to seeing saw Robin Trower at the amphitheater and had purchased “Front of Stage” tickets. Not “Floor” or “Pit”. Things were going well through the opening act, when we started noticing that more people began showing up than there were seats. So two rows of chairs with everyone else standing in front of the stage. We couldn’t see anything once Robin came on stage. Don’t get me wrong, I am a seasoned concert goer who knows if you purchase “Floor” seating you will be standing if you want to see the show. But we had assigned seats on our very expensive tickets and were very disappointed that our view was blocked by other attendees with Front of Stage tickets that were really Standing Room Only. The seating in the amphitheater is terraced, so I’d imagine you’d have a much better view from those seats. Also the security was very poor. No metal detectors or wands, just one guy taking a quick peek in purses. The guy sitting next to me was vaping even though there were signs all over to use the designated smoking area behind the lawn. I asked him to stop twice before getting up to find a security guard who barely spoke English and had no idea that smoking/vaping wasn’t permitted. There were only 3 food trucks and one bar which was beer and wine only. We have been to quite a few amphitheater venues and I have to say we won’t be going back to this one. Really guys, please improve your seating descriptions so people know what...
Read moreLast night, my wife and I joined an old friend for a concert. Not just any concert, but the first one we have attended since Covid struck. We had the pleasure of coming together with some of the nicest people in the beautiful amphitheater put together by the great city of Rocklin. Everybody was so friendly, polite and chill. The amphitheater is just part of the beautiful facility that includes zip lines, climbing stations and paddle boats. The food selection was awesome along with really nice and clean bathrooms. The music was a flashback to the 80’s with Naked Eyes as the opening act followed by a Flock of Seagulls did a pretty good job of recreating that era of music. By the way, watch out where you step as there was also a flock of geese doing there business everywhere, but that was a minor inconvenience. We...
Read more5 stars for concert but 2 stars for movie night. The whole park is awesome and I look forward to visiting more often. But if you're going to put on an event you can't start way before the listed start time. We got there before one of the food trucks and before the majority of people yet the movie had already started. Also the gate was locked so we were hiking across rocks and near poison ivy and snakes instead of the lit paved path. WTH? But the concert was a different story and totally great. Awesome park that I wish was in my neighborhood. Event organizer is lacking and creating somewhat dangerous situations...
