Jimboy's Tacos — Restaurant in Rocklin

If I could give negative stars I would. Just had the most horrific, uncomfortable experience here. The staff was an absolute disaster from the second I walked in the door. I waited for my food for 30 minutes only to be told it had been sitting there but no one called my name. I asked for a refund and the man working the register said the manager would process my refund with 10 days (fine) but then says to me “now please leave and get out of my life so I can help the next customer.” I was shocked to be spoken to that way considering I wasn’t causing a scene or being rude, just simply asked for a refund. I know the man was frustrated with his staff who was messing up every single order. The staff was all arguing in front of the customers. But to speak that way to someone? Just wow. Glad the people behind me left after that comment so they didn’t have to experience the mess this place is. Every other customer there was complaining about the service as well. Our family of 3 had some time to grab a quick taco dinner in-between two appointments one afternoon. We had just left a very hot gym workout and decided to give Jimboys Rocklin another shot. We walked in and I exclaimed to my family, "Yes! It feels so nice in here." Once we got to the register, I asked the employee how he was doing. He said, "HOT." I thought oh, it is hot outside. Then I thought maybe it was hot in the kitchen behind. So I said, oh is it hot in the back? To which he said, "No it's hot in the dining area." I said, "Oh, wow. I was just saying how cool it was in here." Then he argued with me about it being hot. Too hot, in fact, to let customers dine-in. So we would have to take our food to-go. The whole thing was so outrageous I thought it was a joke. So we took our business elsewhere and will never try that location again. The service, food and hours are incredibly inconsistent and...

I went into this Jimboys Taco’s with my brother tonight and the food was great, we both really enjoyed our food and loved the service we received. The cashier, Jayden, helped us out tremendously. We had never been there before and we had a great experience! Jayden helped us with information on the food and even had great suggestions! We got two burritos and for only a dollar more we got our burritos loaded with more ingredients which we wouldn’t have known about if the Jayden hadn’t mentioned it. On top of the amazing help he had given us with picking items from the menu, he even was full of information about the ingredients in the food that we had questions about!
