Starbucks — Restaurant in Rocklin

This is a really great Starbucks and all the employees have been super sweet. I wanted to check the reviews because I felt so sorry for the employees who I witnessed being abused over the phone by a guy who had come in and acted annoyed and then promptly called in (I guess trying to hide his tirade from bystanders) screaming and cussing at employees. I talked to them a little bit about it, and sure enough he’s on the reviews here calling a very sweet and professional employee a “13 year old with a lisp” - this guy apparently acts ok in public and then thinks it’s ok to scream and cuss people out (who were actually being remarkably professional) - and it isn’t ok. I wanted the employees to know that the rest of us see you, how hard you work to try to get people’s orders right, and how you work to make things right when there’s a mixup or mistake.

The guy is also just flat wrong, all it takes is a quick Google search to see that the bacon comes pre-cooked. Starbucks doesn’t have the time or the equipment to cook it fresh in store- they just heat it up. If your bacon was cold just ask for another sandwich?? It’s not ok to be abusive to people, especially covertly so you won’t get called out, and take your issues out on innocent folks trying to do their job.

Anyway bravo to the several employees who have had to handle this dude so far. I hope you guys get nicer customers in the future.

As far as the store goes- it’s a pretty great Starbucks! Really nicely located, has a good drive through, and friendly service. I’m there a lot as my Mom lives on that street, and it’s a nice place to go and get some work...

Update: Tried again after 2 years. Same exact thing happened. Thes people dont know how what “Verry very little cream” means. They serve you a cup of milk with a splash of coffee. Disgusting.

Original review: I don't usually have a problem with Starbucks but this particular location is a joke.

I ordered iced coffee with one (0.5oz) creamer and the hand me a cup that is about 90% creamer.

I park, walk in, ask again for a iced coffee with very little (0.5oz) creamer and 2 minutes later they give me a cup that's about 99% creamer. I ended up pitching the thing in the trash because I had already wasted 20 minutes trying to get a cup of coffee and was late for work.

I've ALSO been served raw bacon at this location. When I called to report the raw bacon to the store some snarky 13 year old boy with a lisp had the nerve to tell me it was impossible because their bacon comes pre-cooked and they just heat it up. Like I don't know what raw bacon looks like?!

I come here every weekday before work. Half of the time my drink is exactly what I ordered. The other half not. I let it go, because mistakes happen. As a customer here I pay a lot of money for coffee. Today I placed a mobile order per the usual and they lost my order. I realized this when after 20 minutes my drink had not been made. This made me late to work. When I finally tasted my Carmel macchiato I was blasted with peppermint. Who puts peppermint shots in a Carmel macchiato?! Was I punished because I asked to check on the order I placed 20 minutes prior? Since I already left and paid for my drink, I can’t go back and ask for a refund or a new drink. Now I have a drink that is a waste. I will not be ordering Starbucks from this store going forward. That is a big loss considering I pay for a 6 dollar drink every day of the...
