So my husband and I went there for the first time and after we got home and I looked at the receipt I sent her a message telling her I was really confused on her menu.
I ordered a burger and the menu said I had a choice of chips & dips, fries or pasta salad that were supposed to come with it. So I ordered fries and asked for a side cup of cheese. My husband ordered a burger and his was supposed to be the same side with just a cup of cheese however you charged us $7 per cheese fry as if we were ordering it as a separate side. I didn’t get additional orders of cheese fries. so I was just curious why we were charged so much on our bill? I ordered a slice of pie. He ordered a rice crispy treat which were $7 each and because she overcharged us for the french fries our bill jumped up to $$57.27 plus she added a $3 tip.
I told her I thought she needed to redo her menu and make it very clear to people because it really was not fair to us when her menu says it comes with fries and then she was turning around and charging $7 each because we asked for a cup of cheese!
A Cheese cup is not worth $7 each it wasn’t that good of a cheese cup to justify that price. We did not get any extra french fries or even a basket of fries to justify the additional $14 charge for 2 meals.
Had I known she was gonna charge us an additional $7 on top of a $16.95 burger that says it’s supposed to come with french fries, I would not have ordered the french fries.
What’s really Sad is I sent her a message on Facebook messenger which she did not reply until I called her out on it on her Facebook page. Only then did she reply to me telling me her father was in the hospital and she would get back to me.
She then proceeded to block me on Facebook so now I can’t send her any more messages or even see her Facebook page. This is not a good way to run a business. She literally just had to apologize and admit, she overcharged me and maybe offer a free piece of pie. Good grief, now I will make sure to tell everybody how awful her customer service skills are and that she rips people off intentionally since this is how she decided to handle the situation.
If I could post photos with this review, showing the menu and showing her response along with my receipt that would have been fantastic for everyone to see.
Edit: Since I cannot post the photo of the receipt, you are a liar. I said I was sorry your father was in the hospital. I waited two days for a response from you. You don’t answer your phone. I did not handle this badly. Your menu says it comes with fries. I asked for a cup of cheese you charged me seven dollars as if I asked for a cheese fry additional on top of the fries that should have come with the sandwich. The price did not include taxes or the three dollar tip you added that was not my complaint. My complaint was I got a small order of fries with a cup of cheese and you charge me seven dollars for it on top of the price of the burger that was supposed to come with the fries in the first place. I sent you a message on Facebook because you didn’t answer your phone when you did not reply two days later on Facebook I responded on your page and then you blocked me because apparently you only like good reviews. You’re the one who handled this badly do not blame me for any stress that you have. You have poor customer service. It could’ve easily been resolved. Had you just said I am so sorry But you couldn’t even admit doing wrong. I never even asked for anything in return just acknowledgment and it’s a shame that you blame the customers for your error!
Your menu specifically says it comes with choice of so I picked the fries and asked for a cup of cheese. You never once said to us we were gonna be charged an additional seven dollars for asking for cheese. Shame on you for treating...
