Captain Mori's Seafood — Restaurant in Rockville

Stopped by the food truck last night and the two gentlemen were so friendly. I ordered a dozen of female crabs. They were perfect and delicious. The guys offered me samples of hushpuppies and fried shrimp while my crabs were steaming.. They were so tasty that I added them to my order. Good service and great seafood is hard to find these days but these two guys have exceeded my expectations. I was greeted, smiled at, explained to, thanked, and invited to come again. The last review is extremely biased. This is a decent seafood place for the area.

This seafood truck is actually adjacent to an Italian restaurant, and near several residents and business complex. (But anyone familiar with the area knows that I-70 is a big IT/healthcare corridor due to the proximity to NIH and NACI)

The crabs are very decently sized. The price is average for the area. The large are perfect, no need to splurge on XLs. If you live in the area it’s a great option for fresh...

Drove by and saw the signs. Decided to try it on a whim. Ordered the crab cake platter with fries and corn on the cob. Firstly, this absolutely qualifies as a “jumbo” crab cake. Had to have been a quarter pound. Well fried, too. Wedge style fries (with REAL ketchup— no high fructose corn syrup!) were good. Now this corn… freshly steamed in the husk. I ate every kernel. Prompt, friendly counter service and delicious food. Looking forward to...
