We had been waiting a long time for Don Chicken to open and were super excited to visit the day after their soft opening. Not all options were available yet, but that's understandable. We tried the sweet & spicy boneless wings, the soy garlic boneless wings, the cheese snowing french fries, and the pickled radish. We chose to dine in, and the service was outstanding! Everyone truly cared about whether we enjoyed the food and took great pride in their dishes. The chicken was exactly what we wanted - hot, crispy, flavorful, and juicy. The meat was excellent quality! The fries were also delicious- crispy and flavorfull. The pickled radish was so yummy and a nice treat to cleanse the pallet in between bites. We ordered the smalls, which were extremely generous portions. The two of us could have gotten away with one small chicken and a side! Side note, we ordered from BonChon the week prior, paid more, and were thoroughly disappointed with our chicken. We will absolutely be back to support Don Chicken and look forward to trying their other offerings! DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS PLACE!
Update: we went back a second time today. We tried the Korean bbq boneless wings, the tteokbokki and vegetable tempura. Extremely generous portion of the tteokbokki, the chicken was again moist, crispy and flavorful, and the tempura was fabulous! The pickled radish is one of my...
Read moreThis is the second time I tried this place. The first time was takeout, and it wasnât bad, so I decided to dine in, hoping that itâd be better. It was the worst experience! The person who worked at the restaurant didnât even greet us. My family and I moved the table and chairs ourselves for a party of 5 and didnât even offer to help us. She just asked how many people. She didnât even give us a menu to order and she was just standing there and giving us weird looks. She didnât even offer to help us order the food. Overall, I didnât care even though the service was bad, as long as the food was good, but the donkatsu was dry and hard to chew and the chicken was so-so. I spent about $80 including 3 bottles of water and 2 cans of Pepsi. The worst part was when the man and one child came in and she smiled and served them well. Later on, one couple came in and she greeted them and helped them to order food using the kiosk. At the beginning, I thought she had a long day and she was tired, but when I saw her, she treated others totally differently. I told my family that we shouldnât come back here anymore. We were there for a good one hour...
