Here is a suggestion for any customer planning to come here: after 10 years of frequenting this place, the crew that welcomed us today was some of the rudest and worst crew ever! Never coming back again! The waitress was not happy because we simply asked if the table could be cleaned as it appeared that it wasn’t. The attitude that we received was insane, rather than a simple “We Apologize”, “let me explain” or “take a look…”. She proceeded on her radio to address me as “some guy is upset because the table is…”. When I walked up to ask the reason why my comment was not addressed and I was just told: this is the way our tables are preset…I received an incredible attitude…

Beware of horrible service with tons of attitude!

Never again. This was so humiliating while the crew all ganged up on us and acted like we have never been there before and don’t know the better standards.

The manager came and had nothing but attitude and made matters worse. Without even knowing what’s going on or asking, he took the words of his crew. Gave me no room for explanation because of the constant condescending attitude towards me. Accused me of raising my voice, which did not happen and my witnesses agreed on my not raising my voice. I do have the right to express discontent with the status of the table we received, but I guess that’s not allowed.

Instead of understanding the situation, the manager jumped quickly at saying “go cry about it” and said “leave if you don’t like it”. All in front of my two teenage boys! So I left respectfully. What an experience!

All because we commented on the fact that our table was dirty when we arrived! I can’t imagine what the condition of the kitchen is at this rate!

If there is a general manager to the place, I suggest you rethink your hiring!

Thank you for a humiliating experience that could have been resolved by a simple explanation or discussion rather than an escalating attitude!

For the owners of the place, we were there at 4:30pm today, June 18, 2025. I am sure that’s not the first time that this specific crew got called out for their attitude!

It is unfortunate because this place used to be one of the better ones!...

the manager here -super tight shirt, with sleeved arms- was extremely rude. i have been coming here for years. have brought family and friends. i understand they have certain rules when it comes to having to wait for the entire party arrival but my friends were not aware of this. i arrived after my party did, since there was no wait time they were seated immediately. it was not busy. many tables open. i asked to be able to go in and tell my friends i wont be able to be seated with them. he rolled his eyes but i walked in anyway to just let my friends know. the waiter comes in and asks if i am eating so i assumed it was fine since it was not busy so i ordered. the manager comes over and said "you're lucky i was nice enough to even let you come talk to them, you have to leave unless you're planning to spend full price for the last 10 minutes your friends have left " while speaking to me in a very loud and mean tone infront of the few people that were there. it was blown out of proportion. his demeanor was awful. he kept going back and forth with me, belittling me. there is a nicer way to explain to people their rules. there is a much more professional way to go about situations like this. as a manager, you'd expect for them to be respectful. i'm a 5'1 female. i wasn't being rude. i myself work customer service, so even in my daily day to day, im kind everywhere i go. he came over me very aggressively. he came at me like he wanted to show power over me. i was humiliated. i was disrespected. so much more competition out there on this type of food, this place here is definitely not a good customer service friendly spot. they should consider proper training for their employees and especially management. no one's above anyone. we're all people. it could've been my first time there and not aware of the rules -which in this case my friends were not aware so i went over to explain to them i won't be able to join them since they were seated already-. a title has really gotten into his head. this is just a restaurant. please sit down and reflect. just some constructive criticism. based on another review i just saw, i believe his...

Iron Age continues to give solid Korean BBQ no matter which of their locations you go to.

This experience was fantastic and the food was just as good.

The wait at 5:45pm was about 15 minutes. We got on a waitlist and they texted us when our table was ready. NOTE: they have a 90 minute time limit for eating.

As soon as we got seated, the banchan (side dishes) were already laid out on the table. This included kimchi, pickled radish, radish wraps, and a sweet radish. You also get 4 sauces - a sweet sauce, a spicy sambal, a spicy Mayo/shrimp sauce, and a salt and sesame oil sauce. They were all such good sauces to pair with any of the meats we had.

We ordered japchae (noodles) and white rice to go with the meal. This is included. Unfortunately their spicy rice cakes are discontinued.

The price is $22 for lunch, $29 for dinner - both very reasonable.

The best part is staff regularly come by and help cook your food for you so you don’t burn it! They also regularly change out your grills if it starts getting too charred.

The meat quality is excellent. We started with beef brisket and pork belly. The brisket was so tender and juicy and flavorful. The pork belly was super fatty. Both melted in your mouth immediately.

We then went on to the garlic pork and lemon chicken. I shouldn’t have doubted the pork, which I thought would be dry. It wasn’t. It was so juicy and had a super strong garlic flavor. The lemon chicken was again surprisingly moist and super flavorful. This was my first time ordering chicken at a KBBQ restaurant, so I was impressed.

We then went on to beef bulgogi. This may have been my least favorite of all the meats solely because this beef was pretty tough and chewy. Definitely not easy to eat like the others. Great flavor though.

Finally, we had to go back to the brisket. That was my favorite and I wanted to end on my favorite again.

Overall such a great experience and I’ll come back...

Ample parking, plenty of tables, good food, clean inside. a little pricy at $25 per person, but it is unlimited. Air conditioning was not cold enough, too hot inside especially since every single table is a stove constantly cooking food all night long x50 tables, so this is a real problem. The lighting inside is way too dark, they need to get some lights to brighten up the place. The staff are friendly and good. I only had 3 specific problems. Problem 1 = i asked for rice and he came back to the table 4x without the rice. He finally brought the rice 7 minutes later. Problem 2, the music is so loud, the staff wont be able to hear you unless you shout. You will need to ask multiple times if you are not loud enough. Also you wont be able to hear your guests very well even if they are sitting next to you. Problem 3 = the ventallation above each table is barely strong enough to waft the cooking steam and smoke slightly. Because of this, you will go home with all your clothes, skin and hair smelling like steak, chicken, seafood and all the other ingredients. I would suggest to the owners of this place to invest in a much more powerful ventallation system to actually suck out all the smoke and steam. I tried 3 types of steak (iron age, top blade and hanging tender). The top blade was very tasty and delicious! Just had some un-chewable and tough chunks of cartillage i had to pull out of my mouth and put in a napkin. But the good part of the steak was very yummy! The hanging steak was pretty good with the same cartillage problem, but not as tasty as the top blade. The iron age beef steak was just way too spicy and way too much seasoning to enjoy. The flavor of the steak was unfortunately completely lost. The other guests in the party really enjoyed their food. The menu lacks some good sweet chicken choices. All it has are spicy, lemon or soy salty chicken. Nothing sweet.

I love Korean bbq and was excited to try an All-You-Can-Eat Korean bbq but Iron Age falls short of an actual Korean bbq experience. There are two options for AYCE, either $25 dollars for Option A or $20 for Option B. At the time we went, the items were all the same except Option A also had Top blade steak, Iron Age Steak, Spicy Webfoot Octopus and Hanging Tender. It looks like there were more options before but they've since been crossed out. The steaks we had still had a lot of tendon and gristle in the them. All the meats we got seemed to be scored to help tenderize. The other meat options (pork belly, bulgogi, and spicy pork) were tasty and part of the cheaper option. The thing that was lacking was the limited amount of korean side dishes (banchan). They only give you 3 and a large bowl of a pre-made salad (you have to ask for lettuce if you want to make a wrap). No gochujang or doen jang usually in Korean bbq, instead just watered down sauces that are barely noticeable. Even the sesame oil with salt/pepper was watered down. I also love getting steamed egg during Korean bbq, but instead of the dish being served in a medium size bowl as a side dish, you get a small amount of the uncooked eggs in a tin container. It is then put on top of the grill to cook (which took ours 10 minutes and only a few bites) and takes up real estate to cook more meat. The server was unattentive, brought wrong orders and kept asking our next items even though we had already told him. This may have just been our server as the server next to ours was constantly going back to his table and checking on his guests. For $20 bucks all you can eat meat is a great deal but just understand it won't be the best quality meats and some items are missing from a traditional Korean bbq.
