Great service! I went there with my family for the first time three weeks ago. My husband had lasagna, my son had chicken Alfredo pasta, and I had Rughetta pizza. All were very good. My husband loved the lasagna except he thought the portion was small and the waitress didn't offer soda refill, it made him wonder whether there was no refill.

Today we didn't feel like going out to dinner, so we ordered in. The person who answered the phone was very nice. I ordered lasagna, pasta Verde, and supli. I picked up the food 20 minutes later. Unfortunately when I got home, I found out supli was missing, so I called back and asked for refund (just for the missing item) to my credit card. The person on the phone said no problem.

10 minutes later she called back and told me that they were going to deliver the supli instead of refund it. Of course I prefer that. 20 minutes later someone showed up with the supli and tiramisu for free. What a great service! We will come back to La...

Today was my first time trying this restaurant. I was very disappointed. I had the penne with sausage. There was barely any sausage in it, I’ve never had an Italian dish with sausage that didn’t have lumps of sausage or a whole entire sausage or two. There was more onions and peppers, then sausage. The sausage was sliced into paper, thin pieces, I don’t think it was even a whole sausage.

I tried the meatball appetizer, the meatballs were burnt. They taste like marinara sauce and burnt flavor. I couldn’t even eat them. There were about eight pieces and they were all burnt.

I also had Italian bread. It was lukewarm with just butter and bland, absent of any flavor.

I tried this place because of the high ratings, but maybe they give the food they don’t cook properly to customers who order take out orders. Thirty plus dollars and...

We went for dinner at La Speranza on a Saturday night. We had reservations, but they were not that crowded. La Speranza is in a strip mall just off norbeck road in Rockville. The location may not be exceptionally pretty, but the food more than made up for it. They serve Italian dishes and pizzas as well as some Spanish cuisine. The wait staff was very attentive, refilling water glasses and making suggestions on the food. La Speranza is more of a local family restaurant and a great place to go for a nice dinner without breaking the bank. But All the food came out fresh, the appetizers were really good and the entrees exceptional. I especially enjoyed the mango gelato, And the cannolis were not your traditional filling which made them interesting and tasty. There is handicap parking available And the parking lot is more...

Went for Lunch on a Friday. The Server was really sweet and helpful. The Restaurant is an Italian restaurant, but the TV displayed pictures of Fuji, and the music played was spanish Christian, a bit of an identity crisis? We ordered Pasta Bolognese and Eggplant Parmesan. The Bolognese was delicious. The Eggplant failed. The Eggplant was cut too thick, and therefore, not baked all the way, and the pasta was cooked too long, so felt really mushy, so did the breading on the Eggplant. This restaurant has great ratings, so I might be tempted to try again, but order something different. The prices were very reasonable. Parking was OK.
