This place just opened and I believe is a hidden gem in the Rockville area. The dining experience at Royal Durbar Kitchen was truly an unforgettable experience. The star of the evening, without a doubt, was the momos. I have had momos in many places before, but these were on another level. Each bite was a burst of flavor. The dumpling wrappers were delicate yet perfectly structured, while the filling was seasoned to perfection, juicy, and incredibly satisfying. The dipping sauces that accompanied them were the perfect complement, with just the right amount of spice and tang to elevate the flavors. If you visit, the momos are an absolute must-try; they alone are worth the trip. What made the experience even more special was the staff. The service was impeccable, attentive without ever being intrusive. They were knowledgeable about the menu, quick to offer recommendations, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving. Food was really good. We have been craving for a good Nepali Thali for a while. There is no any Mittho (मिठ्ठो) chicken thali in DMV area. We have pretty much tried all restaurant Thalis in a hope of finding the Nepal jastai Thali. However, we gave up like 6 months ago until Royal Durbar's video popped up in Tiktok. Back to the experience, we were greeted well and the chicken thali came like in 5-10 mins. AS EXPECTED, perfecto. Mazza ayo. We also had सेल रोटी for to go, and I had chia at the end. Chia nakhai ka hunxa haina. Yamari khana birsiyexa, aba next time, soon. Haha..Anyway...
