I went to Bed, Bath, Beyond. Zack immediately asked me if I needed help while I was walking through housewares. During checkout (where the cashier happened to be Zack-lol), I signed up for a program where I paid $29 & it allows free shipping for a year. I had BB&B coupons on my phone and Zack told me instead of 20% on 1 item, by my signing up I would get 20% off of all items. I also had a $20 off coupon which Zack said would also apply. I purchased over $200 in items and when I got home and went over the receipt I noticed that the $20 had not been taken off. I called the store and spoke w/manager Darryl and explained what had happened. Darryl took my credit card info & said he would issue a credit back to my card and that it would take 2-3 days. 3 days later I still didn't see the credit so I called Darryl back. He asked me to allow 1 more day since the weekend was part of the 2-3 days. Darryl said if the credit wasn't there to come I to the store & he would give me cash. Terrible pedestrian access. Despite being a short walk from a Metro station and adjacent to bus stops, this Plaza does not seem to care about pedestrian access. The most efficient and safest route into the Plaza involves walking through bushes and landscaping. Only the bare minimum of pedestrian pathways or crosswalks are provided, so even if you drove this parking lot is not fun if you need to park farther from the building. Additionally, crossing the entrance to this Plaza feels incredibly unsafe, especially with how many drivers choose to enter and exit the Plaza without checking for pedestrians crossing.
