Little Homestead Furniture — Local services in Rockville

We purchased a cherry cabinet from Little Homestead on the internet and phone early in the pandemic. It took many months for delivery, but we were happy with our purchase. Unfortunately, 1.5 yr after we received it a split appeared in the top, way past warranty time limit. I called LHF and spoke with Farid Eimen (the owner) who contacted the manufacture who proposed sending me a new top. Within a few weeks Farid emailed me to say the replacement top was in and ask when he could deliver it to me in Ellicott City, MD. It gave me a chance to meet Farid, a very nice man. This experience is way more than I expected from Homestead or the cabinet manufacturer. I would happily purchase from Homestead...

We ordered office furniture -- a desk, credenza, and bookcase. The furniture turned out beautiful -- solid and well-constructed -- comparing very well with other high end wood furniture we have had made to order over the years. What really impressed us, as well, was that it turned out the desk was just slightly too tall to fit up our stairs to the study. This was Saturday morning. The delivery guys tried their best, then said we would need to call Farid (store manager) to take the top off for the move. I love this place. I've bought a bed, a nightstand, a chair, and a wonderful built-to-order computer desk from this place. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable (and a low-key guy, not a high-pressure salesman); whenever I shop there, he patiently answers all of my questions (and believe me, he has the answers because he knows his products inside and out). He sells QUALITY furniture -- yes, you pay a bit more than in the discount furniture stores, but you're getting true quality, real wood -- he carries only quality products. (And you're still paying less than in the posh "designer furniture" places.) I truly cannot recommend this store enough...
