Absolutely Unacceptable – Avoid at All Costs
If I could give zero stars, I would.
Savvy Treats—and especially the owner, Eric—completely failed me in one of the most unprofessional, rude, and careless ways imaginable. I placed an order well in advance, confirmed it three separate times, and even paid in full upfront. Everything was supposedly good to go.
But when I showed up on Monday afternoon to pick up my order, I found the store completely shut down—no sign, no message, nothing. I waited outside, confused and frustrated, only to learn from a passerby that the store had been shut down by the Fire Marshall the previous Thursday. That means Eric had FOUR DAYS to notify me. He had my number, my email, my money—and he said nothing.
No delivery. No call. No email. No apology. Not even a last-minute attempt to make things right. Just radio silence and complete disregard for my time and event.
When I finally got in touch, Eric’s attitude was astonishingly dismissive and rude. No ownership, no remorse—just arrogance and excuses. A simple heads-up would’ve allowed me to make alternate plans. Instead, I was left scrambling at the very last minute, trying to salvage an event without the order I was counting on.
This is not just bad service—this is negligence and outright disrespect for customers.

The price was $20 more than it was the previous year for no reason, but I was still going to buy the cake. I ordered over a month in advance, and we had been in communication about design and payment. I told her I just needed to get paid, which would be in a week, which I didn't think would be a problem since that was still 3 weeks before the party and she doesn't even charge the card until pickup. When I tried calling to pay, I left a message but didn't hear back. So I wrote an email and she told me she didn't have any messages. Then she told me it would be best if I got my cake from somewhere else. I begged her to please honor her commitment, and she told me she would only if I brought her cash the next day, whereas when I first ordered, she told me I could give her my credit card number over the phone. She was extremely rude to me for no reason. I have never had a vendor treat me like that. I thought maybe she was going through something, but from reading some of these other reviews, it doesn't seem to be the case. I ordered a costum cake from this place last year and it was perfect so I wanted to order from here again but this time it took forever to get an answer. I even went in person but they told me to come back next day at 12. I couldn’t go in person so I called at that time and nobody answered. Later in the day they sent me an email and said that they were going to be able to do the cake for me. They asked for my credit card information but I asked to please know the price before I give that information. They didn’t answer me for the whole day they weren’t even aware of which one was my cake. Today after waiting all day they told they can’t do the order for me when previously they were going to be able to.
