Lebanese Taverna Cafe — Restaurant in Rockville

I went to have lunch at the Lebanese Tavern in Rockville town center this past Sunday. When you enter the restaurant, you order your food and then pick it up for to go or to eat inside the restaurant or anywhere outside on the tables around the town center. Basically the restaurant is self service, like sweet-green or chick-fil-a because they don't have a waiter. The food was alright, I ordered a Shawarma Sandwich and some other food. The reason for the 1 star is because they charged me more than in the receipt. Seems like they added an extra 15% tip even after I stated 0% in my receipt. The reason of the 0% is because I left a few dollars in cash in their Tipping bucket they have at the register counter so at the end I ended up paying about 30% tip for a self service restaurant. If the employees are not getting pay enough that they needed to sneak the tip on the final receipt, then the owners should be held accountable for their dishonesty in...

We decided to drive around randomly and saw this place so.. we stopped in to try it! We had an extremely hard time deciding what we wanted so we chose to do the Supreme feast for 2! This was MASSIVE! The service was WONDERFUL, I believe the owner was taking the orders and he was so delightful. He personally delivered this to us and actually went through one by one what each item was. If we had any questions or needed any bread, he was right there and ready to answer. This meal could seriously feed 3-4 people for sure, it was INCREDIBLE! We did end up eating the whole thing and were belly busting full. Everything we had was phenomenal and we will totally be back. We also live in Frederick and will be making the trek just because of the service and the amazing food. 10/10 would recommend...

The owner of this place need to do something about his employees. They seriously need training . I brought two shawarma sandwiches. They gave me a cold shawarma the meat was cold the bread was cold . Never seen that anywhere. What's wrong with this people? They're not professional. They're mine and disrespectful. The Lebanese tavern in federal plaza is the best nothing compared to it. The one in silver spring downtown also is another worse place. The old one was good but the new one no good. Iam just telling this for some one to take action and save this place . I love shawarma.
