Beware IN Rockville Location
BY THE OWNERS CONSENT EMPLOYEES IN THIS ESTABILISHMENT CAN BE VERY DELIBERATELY ANTAGONISTIC TOWARDS CUSTOMERS AND ALSO MAKE FALSE ACCUSATIONS [THE OWNER HIMSELF MADE A FALSE ACCUSATION], HENCE ITS ADVISABLE NOT TO VISIT THIS JOINT OR VISIT AT YOUR OWN RISK. IF POSSIBLE I WOULD HAVE GIVEN -VE STARS. THIS IS THE 1ST FOR ME IN USA, USUALLY ESTABILISHMENT ARE COURTEOUS AND CUSTOMER ORIENTED AND IN REVIEW THEY APPRECIATE GENUINE REVIEWS AND TRY TO IMPROVE THEMSELVES, HERE THE OWNER HIMSELF IS HOSTILE FOR THE REASONS ONLY HE/SHE KNOWS!!! AND I MUST HAVE GIVEN ATLEAST $1000 OF BUSINESS WITHIN A MONTH. I THINK THIS IS A FORM OF RAISICM i.e., DISCRIMINATING BETWEEN CUSTOMERS BASED ON YOUR PERSONAL LIKES AND DISLIKES AND DICTATE WHO WILL COME TO YOUR SHOP AND WHO WON'T, IT SIMPLY DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY BECAUSE WITH SUCH A BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE THE FREE MARKET WILL EVENTUALLY PULL THE BUSINESS DOWN AND IT WILL HAVE TO CLOSE SHUTTERS. ANYWAYS I HAVE WASHED MY HANDS FROM THIS JOINT IN ROCKVILLE FOREVER.
THOUGH THE FOOD IS TASTY IF U DONT TRUST THE MANAGEMENT HOW CAN YOU EAT IT!
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I wish to express my gratitude for the presence of Paris Baguette (PB) Cafe in our vicinity, serving Rockville, Germantown, and Gaithersburg residents. The commendable combination of affordable pricing and exceptional product quality reflects a genuine commitment to the community.
The consistently incredible taste of the food, combined with a diverse menu that offers new discoveries during each visit, has made my experiences unique and satisfying. I commend the owner for providing high-quality products at reasonable prices.
However, despite my positive experiences with the products, I regret to inform you that I can no longer recommend Paris Baguette to friends or family due to a concerning and targeted hate attitude exhibited by two managers. Despite my consistent support, including frequent visits, appreciating the products, and substantial spending (exceeding $100 per visit), the following incidents have compelled me to reconsider:
Large Order Mishap ($100 - $160):
Switched at least 2 products without informing me. 1 item missing. All cake slices missing. Entire cake switched. Manager's anti-apology during refund.
Hot Chocolate Incident:
Deliberate manipulation of hot chocolate quantity. Manager's dishonesty confronted with photographic evidence. Lack of genuine apology.
Targeted Attitude:
Managers possibly tracking customer numbers. Unapologetic attitude during refund process. Accusations of potential duplicate refunds without basis.
Observations and Suggestions for Future Customers:
Baristas (Not Managers): Generally hardworking and cute, adhering to ethics.
Managers (Two):
Unprofessional, revengeful, and hateful attitude observed. Clear disregard for customer satisfaction. Lack of professional ethics and business sense.
Advice for Future Customers:
Do not provide phone numbers without careful consideration. Scrutinize rewards and only proceed if honored. Verify large orders before leaving the store. Exercise caution when ordering multiple items.
In Summary:
Regrettably, the hostile attitude displayed by one of the managers has forced me to discontinue my patronage at Paris Baguette. It is my hope that such behavior does not deter others from enjoying the culinary delights offered by PB.
May your future endeavors be free from such negative experiences, and I wish everyone at Paris Baguette a harmonious and successful...
Read moreDear Paris Baquette We hope this message finds you well. We would like to express our concern regarding a recurring issue we have experienced while picking up orders from your restaurant as delivery drivers. We have noticed that each time we arrive to pick up an order, the food, and especially the beverages, are never ready on time. This situation not only affects our efficiency as delivery drivers but also impacts the satisfaction of the customer awaiting their delivery. The delay in preparing assigned orders results in a significant loss of time for those of us working in delivery. Our work heavily depends on timing, and every minute spent waiting for orders that should be ready is time we could use to make more deliveries and, consequently, earn more. It is very frustrating to arrive at your restaurant and not have the order ready. Additionally, many of us use our personal vehicles and, due to time constraints, must park quickly to pick up the order. When the order is not ready and is delayed, some of us return to the vehicle only to find a parking ticket. This situation is frustrating and represents an additional cost that could be avoided with better time management in order preparation. We have also noticed that, at times, the staff is not sufficiently charismatic or attentive. As delivery drivers, we often get out of the vehicle quickly to pick up the food, and it is crucial for the process to be as efficient and pleasant as possible. Being more attentive and charismatic would not only improve our experience but also enhance the overall efficiency of the service. Lastly, it is important to ensure that beverage containers are well sealed to prevent spills during transportation. This not only guarantees a cleaner and more professional delivery but also prevents inconveniences for both us and the customers. I am compelled to provide a rating and call attention through this medium, as there is no way to rate the restaurant. This is not just to complain but to encourage improvements in service and for the staff to be more charismatic and attentive. We understand that occasional delays may occur, but this delay seems to be a constant at your establishment. A possible improvement could be to delay the delivery offer by a few minutes to ensure the order is ready on time. This would not only make our work easier but also enhance customer satisfaction. We appreciate your attention to this matter in advance and hope that measures will be taken to improve this situation. Sincerely Drivers United for...
Read moreUpdate: My personal opinion is the salty patties and all other products with them on display which are routinely replenished with fresh stocks are good. But all decorative cake and slices in the main display should be given a pass. We placed a pickup order for several items some in Nov mid 23. Egg tart and Cheese Tart was replaced by 2 Items without informing us . I read in a review they do make these items. They also did not keep our special order cake and slices ready for the pickup. I visited this joint the first time with my daughter a month back. Discovered lots of unique food - bread, pastry, cake, patties etc. By the end of my 3 rd visit towards the end of 1 month I came to the following conclusions:1) Pretty suspicions joint where the Owner replies to my daughter’ distressed review with a blatant lie.2) The whole impression I received was that the management hates us that we r buying their food on display.3)Which joint in an economic recession chases. away a customer making purchases of 1000$ within a month?4) Total absence of Pakistani/ Nepali/ Bangladeshis/ Indians ( people from the Indian subcontinent)among the customers 5) blatant mismanagement of a pickup order made at least 15 days prior with several items missing casting serious doubt on their true intentions.Another reviewer had complained that they do not honor orders placed in advance. 6) Surely we did not fall within their targeted customer base which might be discriminatory attitude in the least and worst case scenario is that the joint is a coverup for activities other than bakery business. Weird behavior by all their staff, to say the least. 7) I did not believe my daughter when she told me how agitated the whole staff became on our arrival each time we visited and made frantic phone calls to inform someone that we r there. Since we were new customers I felt she is over sensitive and the staff is not deliberately trying to rub her off the wrong way. I was wrong which got proved by the Owners strange response to her review. Please visit at ur own risk as with loss of trust in the management, there is serious doubts regarding the food and if one can trust it...
