Arch II Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Rocky Hill

I’ve been to a lot of bars and to be honest the arch 2 is far from me but I take the drive and go there still for one bartender and one bartender only…I can never remember her name I think it’s angel? But she is the best bartender I’ve ever dealt with, she’s attentive and personable and makes me Feel noticed… she adds a camaraderie to the patrons and staff.. I love the arch and i can speak for myself and numerous people that if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t make the drive to come back every weekend but she makes the bar something special…she’s funny and intelligent and knowledgeable about all drinks, she’s polite and sweet and even though the bar is packed, when she’s dealing with me she never ever makes me feel invisible …she is the reason I will be back every weekend spending money here …I myself am a business owner and if I could persuade her to come to my business I would but she is truly in her element when she’s working and she’s a sight to see.. thank you For being one of the only bartenders to actually get my drink right everytime and thank you For making me...

I swear this place just keeps getting worse and worse and it doesn’t have to be that way, I just can’t believe they keep letting that little short red head act like that behind the bar. She is with out a doubt so sloppy drunk every single time I come in there. She’s losing that place some serious money I’d bet because she can’t get anything done because she’s Partying harder behind the bar then the people she’s meant to serve, and who does she think she’s kidding when she runs off the bathroom every 15 minutes with a group of her friends, hello! I grew up in the 80s, WE KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING IN THERE! Sniff sniff. It’s disgusting and embarrassing, and honestly reckless to have someone like that behind the bar when she’s responsible for the businesses revenue and safety of the customers. I have been to the arch a few times and have found it pretty decent, albeit not the bar for me and with a few biggish problems.

The Good: They have darts, pool, and plenty of seating. They serve pretty good pizza in my book. They have outdoor seating.

The Bad: I have had several rude bartenders. Some have been very friendly, but I feel I am often looked down upon here for being a younger guy. I do tip very well at bars and restaurants so maybe I simply expect somewhat friendly service, especially when it isn't busy and I can see you are not running around. Being honest, the bathroom is kind of disgusting for a suburb bar. Reminds me of the seedy college bar in my college city.

Not Bad/Not Good: This bar has a somewhat more mature crowd, which isn't bad, just know before you pick to come here. Sometimes they have live music that is very loud. If you like live music, the crowd seemed to like not mind. Loud music just...
