I'd say that this place in inconsistent at best. I've had a couple of times where I'm maybe not impressed with the service, just finding it 'okay'. But I think this recent order was the last straw and I need to put this experience down in words. First off, their coupons never work. I'll never get why I give some hope that they do but I've never had a coupon work for them. Second off, I forget that a place that is known for their ice cream should not be sought after for warm burgers. And even asking for it to be warm is too much for this one. I've had my food come out hot and nice a few times, with a specific cook, but I guess today like other days was just different. My burger was lukewarm at best, still cooling thanks to the cold sauce, onions, pickles and lettuce on top. The burger patty was barely even warm itself, the melted cheese sad and like gelatin. And don't even get me started on the sauce, because it served no purpose as a sauce, it merely made my hands and burger wet but offered no other flavor than that. The onion was uncooked and sat there on my burger as a reminder that no effort at all was put into this simple creation. Sure it filled my stomach, barely, but the hole it put in my pocket will take some time to refill. Attitudes are poor, unless you get the occasional person with a light crumb of a personality, and traffic is by far the worst with a line that moves at -300 mach speed. I'll find business...
Read moreWe came in during a crunch time , which understandable! I worked in food service so I understand the pressure. We order our desserts and are chill about it. We see that there’s a blizzard on the window. Keep in mind they don’t call out the numbers. We ask is this ultimate cookie, the employee WHO MADE THE ORDER said yes Our group of 4 all heard them say yes. We later get told by another customer if our order was snickers, because they saw our confusion towards what we were given. All of a sudden the manger, I’m guessing her position from the way she spoke with authority, starts talking disrespectfully about us and how we shouldn’t be mad when we weren’t. DONT GET MAD BECAUSE OF A MISTAKE YALL MADE. DONT ESPECIALLY GET DISRESPECTFUL WHEN RESPECT WAS GIVEN! later we proceed to ask if they were sure about what they were giving us to make sure there’s no mistakes. Read moreToday was free cone day 3/19 and this was my first interaction with this DQ. It was a little busy in the drive thru so I went in.
I walked up to the counter and employee was cleaning up the dining area (might I say it was spotless in there , minus a few napkins somebody had recently dropped near the drink machine)
The employee approached me pleasantly and with a smile this is not always the case in Rocky Mount ! So I was instantly impressed . She said give it a few mins and it would be right out
The line starting piling up but this lady was amazing . She made sure to handle the front line , as well as make sure the people whose orders were prior didn't get forgotten.
I felt she went above and beyond. She handled this day so well and I'm so glad I kept my receipt , her name is Destiny.
Thanks for being a great employee today and the great customer service. It was so nice to encounter kind people.
The ice cream was great and the hotdogs were about a 6/10 only bc I thought it would be more savory chili and it was like a sweet sloppy joe kind of mix and wasn't my favorite but I'd definitely recommend...
