Books-A-Million — Local services in Rocky Mount

I thought it was just a bunch of normal books at first but my first time going in turned me into a fascinated child at an amusement park haha. Personally i'm not very fond of books with just words but when i walked in i saw more than that. Other than candy and food of course hehe. I saw comic books, including DC and Marvel. If that doesn't finish the topping, they had the walking dead too. Not only that but for Otaku's i also saw Mangas (Anime comic books) which was the real center of the candy trip for me. Not to mention the fandom united merchandise which included both some Anime related stuff and of course for our fellow dorks, our FAVORITE doctor, the time traveler had his own merchandise for sell haha. I have to give it to books a million for being more than just a place that sells books, it sells a lot more than just any "Books." After that i think i'm gonna keep going, they sure rid me of that idea that they were like nothing more than a boring library that sells casual books. The name says ot all. Looking at the photos I took I can honestly tell you that this is one of the best book stores I have went for reading material. Let me explain my rating. First you have book and to be honest you can get them anywhere. What I found amazing is the different types of things, not just books, that can be found here. They have games which looking at them, like the role playing options, it fits. They have puzzles, that have a variety of flavors and complexity. They have a kids section that makes me want to buy books that I read when I was younger. I was just thrown back when I saw clothing and accessories are available. There is so much you think that you need a drink and guess what? You can get a drink but not an alcoholic beverage, only coffee and such. As an adult that is the only thing that makes this perfect but we all know it would only take one drunk incident to mess it up for us all. Do not fall for the "free magazine subscription" SCAM. I made a purchase and the cashier offered "3 free months of your choice of magazine subscriptions" I proceeded to ask, are there any secret fees/charges? The sales associate ASSURED me NO, there is no charge or fee. After the trial is over they will mail you a card asking if you'd like to continue the subscription and only at that time would you have to make payment if you chose to continue to receive the magazines. I never received said card and never thought I agreed to be charged for a subscription I didn't really want!! I am now having to go through the trouble of canceling subscriptions AFTER they have already charged my bank which B-A-M gave them the information too. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED I was mislead...
