1171 bar — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

So I’ve tried going to this bar 2 times now and both time the bartender has had a funky attitude towards me and turned down service. The first time I went in w/out my id because I misplaced and didn’t wanna look for it so I absolutely understood and just left. Now mind you im 25, the 2nd time I tried to go in w/a friend and luckily I just happened to leave it in the car so we go back outside and get it. I decided to have a smoke before entering and didn’t wanna bring my purse back in so my friend kindly held and handed her my id but for some reason she refused to even look in the id direction and instantly told my friend my id was fake and she wasn’t serving either one of us. Even though I came to just play pool and hangout not even drink. So I think you should talk to your tender about her insecurities and teach her how to put them a side. Because I’ve never stepped foot in that bar a day in my life accept a week ago when I decided to go out after moving here. Idk her from a can a paint and nvr crossed paths w/her to treat me in such manner. Then on top of that I was really nice, no attitude, I even let my friends speak and talk to her. Ik it’s not race thing because I’ve seen plenty of black guys go in there I even met a friend there on the first go around we just ended up chillin outside since I couldn’t go in. But I think it maybe a beauty thing and no offense but you should want a bar full of beautiful variety of women (Bar owner to Bar owner). However if it is a race thing that’s pretty funny seeing that yall allow black males but not females. I’m gonna try 1 last time when we go out this week and if for some reason it’s just me that she keep turning down then your gonna have to speak w/her. I’ve never done anything to this establishment or to its employees. I am a 25 year old mother of 3 kids. My id is a new NC id that I received while living in Asheville Nc. My birthday and face are all over it how could it remotely resemble a fake id. All she had to do was look at it unless she doesn’t comprehend the new ids and needs a lesson on scanning them, then I will be more glad to educate her on such thing. Bay Area, California girl, a long ass way from home. My dude is a trucker, we're both from Cali, but based out of Dallas, Texas. Decided we didn't want to stay at the terminal, so we took a Lyft from Applebee's to this dope ass dive bar. No food, only drinks and a total vibe! I'm hella impressed! Clearly all locals, but definitely worth the $6 ride up here. Pool and good energy. Came on a Wednesday, DJ, was playing all the jams with the videos. Cool diverse crowd, and again, excellent energy. Ok place. Not exactly my cup of tea. You needed to be a member. It was the naughty or nice Christmas party. We were in from out of town so thought we would give it a try. It cost $10 a piece to get in. Like I said it was the Christmas party so don't know how it usually it's. However the drinks are cheap.
