Gormley's Pub — Restaurant in Rocky River

I've been to Gormley's a good number of times as it is walking distance to my house. However, due to events this past weekend, I will not be returning. My friend and I went to Gormley's this past weekend for a nightcap. We were having a great time until the owner showed up. He was also seemingly having a nightcap.

He and my friend ended up getting in a political disagreement - that happens, especially when drinking, we weren't taking it too much to heart, until he just started going after her. He was yelling at her, in her face, and berating her until he kicked us out. I attempted to intervene and tell him to chill the F out, but he kept yelling in her face and threatening to "tell her husband". It very much seemed his issue is with women, especially ones with opinions. He did kick us out very loudly and dramatically. We were followed by two of friends who apologized for his behavior but the harm was done.

Very expensive pub. They had price of 13.50 for a Reuben. My boyfriend and I got one. When we got receipt it said 16 dollars for them a piece. Turns out it was an outdated menu. Price was actually 14 dollars which did not include the fries which were an extra 2 dollars. I have never gone to a place where the fries were not included. The food was good but they were stingy on the sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. The bloody Mary was terrible. I make better ones at home. Anyway...

Friends recently had an awful experience here- The owner himself was aggressive and eventually kicked them out over a discussion about women's rights as well as saying this will be reported to her husband (as if that means anything at all).
