Antojitos la Esquina — Restaurant in Rogers Park Township

Ripoff/Scam artist. Ordered 3 Birria tacos in english. Waited while other people ordered including another Mexican guy asking if they had Birria tacos and how much in Spanish($3). I was then served and said how much and gave him a $10. He then said in English $12 and I thought maybe he thought I said 4 tacos and paid him. Got home and had 3 tacos and double checked price on website. Called him up and he confirmed I ordered 3 tacos. I asked him why it said $3 on website(I also looked at other reviews and all said $3) and he acted stupid and said should be $4. I then mentioned the other order in Spanish and he said I was wrong. Maybe the price was just changed for me for some reason... I guess the $3 stolen from me was worth losing a potential future customer.

They did taste...

We stumbled upon this taco stand while running errands in the neighborhood. We tried the steak and birria taco, and they were the best tacos we ever had! The corn tortilla was pan fried, and the meat was so flavorful and tender. We want to go back to try their other items!...

After coming here once I was hooked! The food is AMAZING…your mouth will water when you smell it being cooked! BEST QUESA BIRRIAS AROUND!! Aside from the food being delicious. Raul treats you like family and has great conversations while you wait. You can place your order in advance to avoid the wait and he takes cash and Zelle. I definitely recommend stopping by!
