At approximately 5:20 pm today my wife and I arrived at CAVA anticipating a nice meal. My wife wanted to try the Steak and Feta Pita and I decided to eat the Crispy Falafel Pita. When we arrived at the store, we were the only people in line. We were not even acknowledged as being there. We waited and waited and continued to wait while one of the managers (I assume he was a manager because he had a clipboard and appeared to be handing out assignments) was holding a staff meeting. Not one employee even showed any interest in us. Others came in behind us and we still had to wait.
I think this is completely unprofessional and unfair to customers who come to the restaurant to spend their hard earned money on a meal. We were literally two seconds away from walking out of the store and never coming back. Staff Meetings should be held before the store opens or after it closes, NOT when there are customers waiting to be served. This is extremely poor customer service, and our experience was not an enjoyable one. In addition, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold as if you could hang meat in the corner. I almost expected Rocky Balboa to be in the corner somewhere beating up a slab of beef!
The service was atrocious. We felt ignored and that is not acceptable in a service oriented profession such as a restaurant. From the Manager on down, this restaurant team was less than tolerable. Fortunately "Maria" finally appeared to take our orders with all the enthusiasm of a train wreck. The food was half-way decent, but nowhere near spectacular. I would not recommend this establishment to my friends or family and the ONLY reason I am giving it ⭐️⭐️ is because my wife says she enjoyed the steak. My food was not hot, it wasn't properly prepared and given a choice I would never...

The food, as always, is great quality, but that's if they even give it to you correctly. We've ordered online orders several times for our office, and not once has the order been entirely correct. We've even split up the orders to make them easier so it's not an enormous order. We've dealt with missing ingredients, missing sides, incorrectly labeled bowls, the list goes on. They also still have carrot sticks listed on their online ordering system, yet upon arriving to pick up our order, we were hastily told they don't offer those anymore. It's very frustrating because the food is delicious but the attention to detail and making sure orders go out correctly when you're not physically watching over them is lacking severely. This is strike #4 and I will not be going here anymore.
5 stars always on the food. However - my office has ordered online from this location 3 separate occasions and every time several things have been incorrect or missing entirely. The first time there were missing ingredients from several bowls; the second time there were missing ingredients as well as missing drinks (we had to go back); and this third time some bowls were messed up and two bowls even had the lids switched so people ended up eating the wrong bowls. I love the food and would like to keep eating here but the accuracy and attention to detail when preparing and packaging to-go orders needs to become more...
Read moreFirst things first, we stood in line for 40 min. It was a Sunday, and maybe that was part of it. I don't know if they were understaffed or if this is the norm. As this was my first time here in going to give the benefit of thr doubt and say it was likely due to staffing.
The food was lack luster. The only seasoning were in the sauces. I ordered the steak and feta and it was a solid 6:10. I ordered a side order of hummus and falafel, and my friendordered the roasted eggplant. We've both eaten at a number of Mediterranean restaurants and even middle Eastern. So we're both familiar with what the assorted dishes should and have tasted like. The falafel didn't taste like anything. I mean that literally. My friend and I noted that the chickpeas that made up the falafel and hummus didn't have any flavor. It was wet mush or crunchy mush. Not to be mean but oatmeal has more flavor plain. There was no salt, no lemon juice, no garlic. Honestly, it didn't even taste like any of the listed were even present in thr kitchen. And at $35 per person or just wasn't worth it.
The best part was the pita, but they didn't taste like they used salt, but it was pillowy, hot and didn't crack my teeth like the hard pita at Tzaziki's. The bonus was the cucumber, lime and mint drink! I could drink that by the gallon!! But aside from that, I won't...
