My boyfriend and I usually skip breakfast but I love breakfast food options and always crave them around the midday mark. So I was searching for an inexpensive diner to stop at on our way back from the casino. Luckily I found Linda's Cafe, where they serve incredible breakfast food all day! I believe it was Linda herself who waited on us, and she was really great about accomodating my desire to change a few things to fit my cravings. I ordered Linda's skillet and he got the Minnesota Omelet, both with the cranberry toast (which was to die for). The food arrived quickly and she even brought a bottle of hot sauce I've never seen before, which was a nice touch since he loves to douse EVERYTHING in hot sauce. Well, one bite in and he didn't even take another look at the bottle! We shared the generous spread and actually put a sizable dent in it since every bite was so wonderfully comforting and delightful. We both agreed it was the best breakfast food we have had in a long time, and he's a cook himself! I honestly could not recommend this place more, I even walked out with a handmade birdhouse for a...
Read moreI stopped here to get food on the way back from a school trip and the lady who took our order was very sweet and the energy in the restaurant was very welcoming. The food is what I’m here about. Omg the food. I got the Grilled Ham and Cheese with fries and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate had the perfect amount of whipped cream that when melted into the hot chocolate was like little men dancing on my taste buds and sliding down into my stomach like a waterslide. The fries were the perfect amount of crisp and I ate them like I hadn’t eaten in years. The grilled ham and cheese was my favorite part. Taking a bite it felt like I ascended to heaven. The ham was beautifully cooked and so easy to bite into. The cheese was perfectly melted to the bread and ham without making anything soggy. The cheese pull whenever I took a bite was as more beautiful as Ryan Reynolds. I don’t think I’ll ever enjoy anything as much as I enjoyed that sandwich. If I’m ever in the area again I’m 1000000%...
Read moreTried to give this review zero stars but I couldn’t. Planned a meet up with family at this cafe. I arrived first and went in to get a table while I waited for the rest of my party(4 of us) to arrive. I was denied being seated I am assuming because the other 3 of my party were not there. I wasn’t given an explanation, the host just looked past me to the next two groups of people behind me and seated them instead. When 2 more of my party arrived5 minutes after I arrived)we were again denied seating and when I again asked if we could be seated the host(older man with bad teeth) angrily said no without making eye contact with me. This is a horrible policy to have at a little family? owned cafe. Leaving paying customers waiting/standing/being stared at by other diners, for what reason? Don’t recommend...
