Went to the McDonald’s on Walnut in east Rogers just before ten pm on Sunday night. At first glance, there was no one in the drive through, but when I pulled around to place my order there were about 5 people between the two lines. However, after a couple minutes, there wasn’t any communication to be heard from either speakers. Another minute and the person in front of me pulled away, so I pulled up to the speaker. Thirty seconds passed and no greeting and still no sound from the other speaker, so I said hello several times and got no response. Thinking there was something wrong with their speakers, I said, “If anyone in there can hear me I think something is wrong with your speakers.” Still nothing, so I pulled up to the first window. The woman there opened the window and I proceeded to tell her I thought there may be something wrong with their speakers. She informed me that they currently had 8 orders and 5 staff and the manager on duty said to stop taking orders until they could fill the ones they had. Yes, 8 orders and the manager stopped taking more. I told the woman at the window that she should probably let the people in the drive through know why they were waiting. Her response? “It wouldn’t change anything.” No, but you could communicate with potential customers why you aren’t taking their orders and why they are trapped in line. There was clearly no consideration for customers here, so I took my business elsewhere. I’d like to add that I work in the restaurant business and we only ever have 4-5 kitchen staff, and 8 orders is nothing. This was my first attempt to return to this McDonald’s in close to two years because of wretched service before, I won’t make the mistake of trying to give them business again.
TLDR Version: Bad management, inconsiderate staff, go somewhere,...
Read moreWorst location in NWA, unfortunately its the closest location to my residence. The soft drinks are always flat from this location and lord forbid you come here from 9pm - 3am expecting to use a card to pay. They only accept cash during that time frame, but this isn't an issue with any other location in the area.
The cash issues after 9pm also causes major issues on the customers end. You'll have a line of at least ten vehicles quickly dwindle down to two because they are only accepting cash, only using the second window, and are using pen and paper to take orders when you can clearly see that their systems are online and working (i used to work at McDonald's, I know how this works, for reference, I worked at this location years ago)
This issue has been going on since early 2020 and its still not fixed. Fast and incredible service in the daytime, except for the flat soft drinks. But terrible night service when I see eight or more people leave the line due to it taking 10 minutes to even up to 1 hour to even get your order placed, and then waiting an additional 5 to 10 minutes to get your food after you've already paid. Leaving the food to be cold
Unfortunately its the closest location to me and the only location thats open super late for when I'm in town...
Read moreGetting service at McDonald's sometimes certainly in the morning. What are you doing work hours? You can't get help at all. They take care of the drive through and you have to stand in a minute. Wait in the restaurant for a long time to get service. They do not make the food right. I don't know how many times I have to take it back up there to get it done, right? The first time they don't even look at the Order. I think all they do is see something that says. The name of the food you're getting and just make it whatever way they want. McDonald's on 2nd street in Hudson, they got a lady up her named rose. This got an attitude with everybody. The owner of the restaurant won't do nothing 2. Get the place I'm working properly. He just got too rich and made too much money now. He doesn't give it Dang about anything. I've called him several times he hasn't never called me back one time. Walter Matthews does not take care of the complaints, nor does he. Reach back out to you to try to fix the problems once people get rich. They don't do anything. I'm gonna go on vacation and enjoy them wealth. They have made and don't care anything about their business and keeps on building...
