Walked over on a day that they were having a special on corn dogs. The kiosk order menu panel thing on the patio in front of the store, where you could look out the window from the inside and the the big kiosk sign thing, was broken. I pushed the button and waited. Finally an employee came out of the building in front of me, but to my dismay, he was running food to someone sitting comfortably in their car. I managed to get his attention as he was grabbing for the door, presumably to go back in the building and find more food to run to a different customer sitting comfortably in their car. When I asked the logical question of how I, a walk up customer, was to place an order for just 2 of those delicious corn dogs I mentioned earlier and were on special, his reply was I could go stand in one of the drive up spaces and order from there. Well, I crossed that driveway to a parking space that hopefully had a working menu kiosk order thingy, with great caution,as I am 56 years old and getting hit by a car now days would probably hurt a whole lot more than it did when I was but a lad. Read moreUsually this is the main sonic I come to but whoever took my order really set my day off wrong. She didn’t even tell me her name, asked me what I wanted and then disconnected before I even finished ordering. Then when I “called” back in it was the same girl giving me attitude in her voice and short clipped answers like I was a problem for even showing up. And I get it, I’ve worked at sonic on shifts with me and only one other person and still currently serve, so believe me I get it, and get that the service industry has plenty of ass customers, but that’s not how you get yourself or anyone a tip (I ALWAYS tip 20% or more no matter where I’m at and I wasn’t going to tip this carhop because of this, but she didn’t bring the order out so I did ofc still tip the very sweet girl who brought my food out) or repeat customers, and I know it’s sonic so not like they’re suffering,...
Read moreCame by for breakfast on our way out of town this morning. Store wasn’t busy at all, so it didn’t make sense that the lady taking our order was extremely aggressive, condescending and rude. In a car full of little kids it can be chaotic trying to get everyone’s order together we couldn’t get a single persons order fully communicated before she would “uh huh what else” when we were trying to add a modification to an order. in a tone that would put bon qui qui herself to shame. I get that big and complicated orders are a pain in the butt, but choosing to be mean only delays the entire process. I didn’t get her name- and I’m not one to personally call out a service worker. You know who you are and I hope you have a...
