Stopped by this restaurant after a long drive coming into Missouri to visit family, we purchased a large meal for 10 of us, I went online and tried to use my coupon and they were having trouble so I called the restaurant to let them know and they told me not to worry about it to come on in and they would honor it, mind you it was only a couple dollars off coupon, when I got to the restaurant and it was time to check out I pulled the coupon up on my phone and the manager working (Samantha) declined to allow me to use my coupon, when I asked her why it wouldn't work she just walked off and refused to answer when my sister asked her if she was going to help us she still continued to ignore us when my sister asked her one more time excuse me ma'am she looked right at my sister and said what do you want me to do I can't do anything about it and walked off and then insisted to act like we weren't standing there to pay, it was so rude and so unprofessional the sad thing is we have a huge family and we have always loved the food there we will not be eating there if that manager is there and I honestly believe she should not be in a manager's position if that's how they're going to treat customers and then on top of it they forgot a small part of our order I didn't even bother to call up there and say anything after the interaction that we had with the lady and just...
Read moreI hope that your having already seen my rating won't stop you from seeing this!! I moved to Rolla in 2004. Prior to that, I lived in a town where a national chain fast food restaurant not only made their own biscuits like they still do (obvs not McD's) for breakfast, but they also made them to go with their fresh fried chicken. It was the best around where I came from. That chain didn't carry chicken by the time I got to Rolla. I lived where I had to drive past your Lee's to go most places. I was leary as I've had some OMG moments at bad chicken places! But it smelled. So. Good. I could be stuffed and smell Lee's... instant growling tummy! And it is all your restaurant's fault! In 2010 I moved away to a place with no chicken place. None. That grocery store WM is it. Um. No. During one of our many discussions lamenting our fried foul free existence, the conversation took a turn to our favorite chicken places. I'm from Missouri, he's from the south. Naturally there were chains in the south I hadn't a clue about. To my shock, he knew NOTHING of Lee's! First chance we had on a trip north he had Lee's for the first time. Like anyone with tastebuds who eats chicken, he fell in love. But more he fell in love with your Lee's, your people. When your kindness and manners impress an old school southern gentleman, you truly should...
Read morePoor quality, quantity and customer in August & September 2021. In August my large order of livers were both dry, and since I purchase only this item from this location I can tell you I was also shorted. I received a small sized order in a large size container. I assumed they may have new help or having an off day. Today I asked if it was possible to get 2 fresh large orders since I didn't want to be shorted at the same time of day nor receive dried out items. I was told it would be at least 30 minutes. I offered to pay and come back through to pick them up. I was again told no, offered to come sample what they had and told it would now be an hour before they could make anymore. I again explained what I got last time was subpar. Still told no, given more excuses and no offer to make right the last order that was mostly dumped after I drove home. Tonight it's Taco Bell. Lee's has 2 strikes before I quit stopping by all-together on my regular trips through Rolla. Customer Service shouldn't suffer when given an opportunity to make a previous visit right. As a manager you should never assume your employees are giving you all the details on an abnormal request. It may be worth your time to show an employee how to handle a potential last visit, bad impression, situation. Come to the...
