This is going to be quite the long review, but this is a complaint on behalf of my partner who recently quit this establishment after being subjected to a plethora of issues, including (but not limited to) discrimination towards disability, the irresponsibility of management, and an overall hostile working environment. This review serves as a warning towards those willing to apply to this restaurant, and as a message towards management in hopes that they will change the way they treat their employees.
My partner has made it very clear to management that they have a disability that impacts the way they take in information and perform some tasks. Despite having this information, they treated my partner in a very hostile manner after trying to perform some tasks and sent them home.
According to my partner, one manager there goes so far as to chew people out, mock, or intimidate them, then pass it off as a joke. However, there are moments (especially during rush hour when everyone is stressed) when the line between joke and insult can be especially blurred. For my partner, this blurred line is constant, where they are unable to tell whether these statements are serious insults or not. Regardless though, to the viewpoint of a bystanding customer, this behavior is an extremely bad look regardless of intent.
The breaking point for my partner was when management did not keep track of when they were sent home, and due to this the system wrote those days off as no-call, no-show days. When my partner brought this up and noted it was unfair and poor management of workers shifts and times, the manager asked for evidence of them being called off, to which my partner obviously didn't have. (This evidence is something only management should have access to. This should not be the employee's responsibility.) Quite an interesting and irritating loophole.
I've heard of and seen irritable employees that are likely being impacted by this poor management, and I hold no ill will towards those affected by this cruel managemrnt system. I hope management reads my review thoroughly and changes its ways, because I would argue some (if not all) of these methods are blatantly abusive and discriminatory, and could arguably be percieved by employees as ethics violations. Your restaurant's goals should be achieved by a friendly work enviornment built off of trust and proper communication, not force and hostility. The job of management is to coordinate the work environment, and that includes keeping it friendly. Customers are not dissatisfied because of the employees, the overall issue is tied straight to management.

Read moreWas on our way to St. Louis this morning so we stopped in around 7:30 a.m. to get 2 frappes & 2 breakfast sandwiches, couldn’t get the frappes cause they were cleaning the machine. Our breakfast sandwiches had been sitting awhile & so they weren’t very good. On our way home from St. Louis, on the same day around 4:30 p.m. we decided to try again & get two frappes, they made the caramel frappe but couldn’t make the mocha frappe cause they were cleaning the machine. We said that’s funny you were cleaning the machine this morning when we came through. So, we asked for our money back. They told us to pull forward & they would bring the money out to us & when my husband refused to pull forward another worker came to the window & told us to pull forward & argued with my husband & told him that he would have him escorted off the property. I told him all this time he wasted arguing he could’ve had our money refunded & we would be gone! He shut the window & came back a few minutes later & gave us our money back & hatefully said have a nice day! Honestly, how many times a day do you need to clean a frappe machine? Read moreI am leaving such a negative review due to my experience on July 23, 2023 I went to McDonald’s around 930 this morning and chose to do curbside and I ordered an oatmeal and sweet tea and I sat in the curbside spot number six for over 30 minutes I decided to go in to see what was taking so long and my order was sitting there on the counter ready to go out but no one brought it to me. This is not the first time I’ve had an incident at McDonald’s where it’s been bad, especially at the Rolla location in Kingshighway, there’s been multiple occasions where they have messed up my order pretty bad where they had forgotten or gave me the wrong stuff which could be dangerous for someone who’s allergic to something but I’m not but that’s besides the point I have tried to give McDonald’s in Rolla Kingshighway, the benefit of the doubt more than once since the beginning of this year we have had nothing but problems every time I’ve went to this McDonald’s.
