They were out of so many things. Every time we go to Panera in Rolla they are out of whatever we want to order . This visit I ordered a green goddess Cob salad. First the cashier informed me they were out of the salad dressing for the green goddess salad, which pretty much makes the salad what it is. She suggested to use the Greek salad dressing instead, I agreed to that. Next, she told me they didn't have the hard boiled eggs for the salad and suggested to add chicken or extra bacon to the salad to get a protein substitute for the egg. I said okay to that suggestion, then she said it would be an upcharge 🤦🏼♀️ out of eggs on a Cobb salad, out of the dressing specific to that salad and charge me extra for something you're putting on then salad due to all this items in the salad you are out of?! Ridiculous! When I get my order ,my soup is COLD the salad is tiny. I got a skimpy pick 2 with a thrown together salad, missing several ingredients, a cold French onion soup, which they never make right at this location in Rolla, they never bake a thick layer of cheese over the top and have the croutons under the thick layer of cheese. It's just onion soup with some croutons mixed in. My daughter had a Mac and cheese with a Baggett and a tea. I spent almost $40.00 on our food. To top all this off, the dinning and restroom areas were not clean at all! Over half the tables had pieces of food and grease smears on them 🤢 and in the bathroom, the wall mounted soap dispenser was open on top with no lid.. like u could reach your hand in the soap dispenser.. or really anything 🤔 and there was nothing to dry your hands on at all but pleanty of toilet paper strewn on the floor. I really wish they would get this location together as it's always something they are out of or unable to make, and never a great experience. If my daughter didn't love Panera, I wouldn't ever stop at this location in Rolla...
Read moreI really like paneras food, in rolla it is one of the only places that has food offerings that aren't fried or based around meat and potatoes. I keep going back for that reason. But they really struggle with execution at this location in that my order is made wrong about 80% of the time. I order from the app and usually customize the items I get. I add and subtract items from their salads and almost every single time that results in missing things from the Salad. They don't put the chicken on a salad with chicken, they don't put cheese or other protein items, etc. Or they are completely out of things that I am able to order and pay for on the app so when I get to the store to pick up my food I have to first track someone down to ask why my order is missing items then I am told they don't have it so it's not there. No offer to refund my money or substitute just blank stares. This has happened on several occasions. Then I have to go and submit a customer service complaint to get my money refunded. Considering the app does have the ability to be updated to reflect out of stock items I don't understand how this continues to happen. I can't be the only person this happens to so you would think the staff would have some sort of training on how to deal with this issue on site. Nope, nothing. Just a vague answer about doing it on the app. So frustrating. Read moreI have been coming to this Panera in Rolla for several years now. I admit in the past my experience was a mixed bag. It used to be 50/50 on if I would get my food in a timely manner, if my order was received accurately, or if I had good customer service. Now in the past year + my experience has changed quite dramatically. I think the customer service has improved greatly, my orders almost always come out quickly and usually accurate as well. There are a handful of employees I would like to mention that have stood out in creating a more consistently positive experience. To start with, two managers who have really done a fantastic job are Catherine and McKayla. They both are always smiling, polite, busy working and helping, and seem to take care of the customer when needed. Next is Ryan, who in my opinion is one of the best customer service employees I have ever encountered. He is always working with efficiency, always greeting and engaging with customers while working with a positive attitude, and most importantly takes care of customers quickly and generously if problems arise. And last but not least Jose and Mary who do the food prep really do a great job at working hard and efficiently as well. They are great at getting the food out quickly and accurately, and on the rare occasion something is wrong, they fix it immediately without question.
