I went to this Starbucks almost daily for about 4 years, and unfortunately what was once a pretty quality coffee location in a fairly coffee-starved town now suffers from incredibly long wait times and very inconsistent operating hours that make this one of the most inconvenient and unreliable services I've ever experienced.
They will randomly close their indoor area for weeks at a time with no notice, and this always leads to their lines backing up onto the main road and blocking traffic. What's even worse is that they will still keep their online ordering open but will not allow you to go inside to pick up your drink, so you are effectively forced to either wait in a 30+ minute line for a drink you already paid for and which will be lukewarm by the time you get it or just accept the lost money. There have even been times where the entire restaurant is closed but they are still accepting online orders, which forces you to go back the next day they are open and explain that you never received your order due to them being closed.
The people that work here are generally very nice, and the coffee is the typical Starbucks quality. However, the way in which this location is run shows a complete lack of respect for paying customers. I would never trust this location to quickly get a drink and would be prepared to spend up to 30-40 minutes waiting. As a long-time Rolla coffee drinker, I would encourage people to go to either Einstein Bros Bagels or my personal favorite, Giddy Goat Coffee House. Both will offer cheaper coffee with better and much faster service, and in the case of Giddy Goat they have much more interesting and varied coffee types as well. Visit this Starbucks at...
Read moreWe came by this past Sunday as we were on our way back from a mini vacation and hadn't had our starbies fix in a couple days. Went the the drive thru and ordered. I order 4 drinks total and it was about 30 bucks. As I pulled up to the window to pay and scan for my stars, the lady at the window is handing out the drinks before any transactions were made. I set my money and my phine down to start collecting them and handing them out. The forst drink was a B.O.S.E. it was all oatmilk and barley and espresso with no cinnamon at all. I ask what it was and she said very rudely, "it's on the cup!" I explained that it didn't look like what I normally get and again she rudely uttered that they were short staffed and that's the way they make it. Then the second drink was a Iced Carmel Mac. With extra Carmel drizzle. There was hardly any Carmel at all and she explained it rolled to the bottom of the cup. I held it up to show her and she blew me off like she didn't see it and started to hand me the other two drinks. I almost just drove off with out my stars or even paying her but I didn't want any trouble, so I sat there after she closed the window on me after giving me my 4 drinks and a couple minutes later opened the window to ask if there was a problem. I said, Um yeah I still need to pay and get my stars. She had already cashed out and wasn't able to scan for stars. So I paid and just rolled on down the road. I'm so bummed I have to give one of my favorite places a bad review but that's the way it is. I hope this post is read and sk.erhing is done about it. Our Visit was at about 2:30 pm...
