Reverent Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Rolling Hills Estates

Reverent is my favorite coffee stop. Better than any chain and any smaller spit I've tried. The coffee is brewed to perfection. The service is exceptional. Spotlessly clean. The flavors are bursting from every drink. Here is my current favorite large Breve with half and half & cinnamon on top. The vanilla latte is otherworldly. They have pastries too. No soy milk but they have oat, almond, whole, 2%, & half and half. Reverent is more than just nice coffee! Try their MATCHA whisked to perfection in ceremonial style with a traditional bamboo whisk. The attention to detail is beyond what you will find anywhere. The kindness and friendliness in the lovely people running this place is cherished by me when this pandemic has made so many hard and cold or just vacant. And I get it these are essential workers but Reverent breaks the mold. They are warm and inviting. Do yourself a favor drop in. Enjoy a coffee experience here the way coffee should be experienced, where flavor of the beans and not caffeine comes first, and where the owner-barista takes the time to actually talk and connect, but only if you want to. Beverages are served in ceramic (not detrimental to the environment like paper cups which are not recyclable!!)

The ambiance is white-and-wood modern chill: long acacia communal table with individual designer tulip chairs, couple roundtops on the other side and a bench along floor-to-ceiling Flat screen TV on mute with chill indie folk music playing.

Had the best cup of iced coffee I’ve ever tried. I like to play around with drinks at home and always try to get the tasting notes on coffees, but can never truly get there. Ordered an iced coffee that had the tasting note of peach rings and was in disbelief when I actually tasted that.
