This is mine and my fiancées first time at this location (Westport Rd) and we also had one of her friends with us. We were all three very disappointed and will not be returning. When we arrived, the aroma of pizza smelled fantastic, however we decided to get the ‘buffet’ food. This was a mistake. It was old. The crust of the pizza was rock solid and the toppings as well. The lasagna was great, but the pizza was awful. The chicken wings were also old. The guy who was taking care of us was very friendly and professional; I can’t complain about him. He ensured having fresh pizzas on the buffet shortly after we sat down. He also got our drinks ordered before we even managed to sit down. Our other issues were the place seemed to just be dead and the atmosphere drained our energy (seriously) to the point we decided to leave. When I went up to pay, I was shocked by the price. For three people to eat at the buffet it cost me $47! We ate at Cheddars last night and that’s how much it was there which is significantly better food. At the buffet at Bearno’s we only had three pizza options and some cheese bread. For a pizza place that has the ability to have a buffet, and to charge as much as they do, they don’t utilize it very well. We were just disappointed overall. Read moreBearnos Westport: I ordered a pizza about an hour ago and it was delivered quickly but I received the wrong pizza. Normally not a huge deal but we ordered a veggie pizza and do not consume pork (we received pepperoni and sausage). When calling back, someone answered the phone and said “thanks for calling Bearnos, we’re closed” and hung up on me. This is 25 min before closing. I called back several times only for them to pick up and hang up on me. I am in absolute shock. This is so rude and we will never be dining with Bearnos again.
Update: I finally got through to the manager and expressed how this is bad customer service. He then said “you’ve ordered from us before and had good service before, so don’t say it’s bad customer service”. WHAT? This guy cannot be serious. That’s like running over someone’s dog and talking about all the times you never ran over a dog. Take responsibility! I cannot make this up…He is fully refunding the order but I can’t believe the lack of accountability for the situation. Absolutely shocking. This has SO little to do with the order being messed up and everything to do with how the situation was handled....
Read moreToday I decided to try a new pizza place “Bearnos”and I placed my order at 6:30 PM with the estimated delivery of 7:30 PM. At 7:45 I called the restaurant because I still had not received my pizza they said the driver was about to head to me, I called again at 8:20 because I still had not received my pizza. When I talk to the manager he said his driver delivered it and knocked on the door I am on quarantine so I can’t leave my home. I set in my living room waiting for the pizza for an hour and a half and the owner (without saying) told me he didn’t believe me and his driver was telling the truth and if I ordered another pizza it would be delivered to the same location. I explained to the manager they delivered to the wrong address there are no pizzas anywhere near I have been sitting staring out the window waiting and I have dogs we would have noticed a person. The manager asked what he should do about it at that point I just requested my money back which he then couldn’t do because he needed the owners permission because he didn’t believe me wow I will never order from...
