Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Rome

Friendly staff, but total chaos. Incorrect order, long wait time, just unbelievable disorganization. The alleged “managers” giving no help or direction to the understaffed front and back areas, jus occasionally circulating through then disappearing somewhere in the back. This restaurant could be very successful if they had some actual leadership, but they don’t. I watched at least 5 customers leave after seeing the chaos. This had nothing to do with the chicken sandwich, which had apparently sold out around early afternoon, and it was 5pm. The meal I ordered was incorrect, even though my order was simple, repeated to me twice, and clearly marked on the ticket. The chicken leg (part of my order) and thigh (not part of my order) were absolutely the smallest pieces of alleged chicken I have ever seen. More in the realm of a Cornish game hen. There were never more than 2 people in line at any given time, which makes the situation even more baffling. Nearly $9 for the order - 2 wings, a leg, and one side, with a small drink. At Publix you can get 8 pieces of chicken - healthy, adult sized pieces for less than $9. I love Popeyes, but this was the most disappointed I have ever been. I visited this location to see what the hype was about regarding the chicken sandwiches. The first vist they was out. So i ordered tenders. I had to wait 35 minutes for my order but during that time the manager on duty was being rude to a customer that wanted 5 thighs. She rolled her eyes at him and said for orders like that to call it in. Bad customer service. The second day I got there at 10:10 only to be told they didn't have fries and again no chicken sandwiches. I understand not having the sandwiches but how do u run out of fries that early. Day 3 which was today I finally got the chicken sandwich. I ordered the combo. My fries was cold and my sandwich was bland. The bun was the best thing about the sandwich. The manager charged 25 cents for sauce. I was just trying to add flavor to the sandwich. I never had to pay for sauce at any other location. I will not be returning. 3 strikes your out. This location will not last long with the managers mainly the one that is shaped like sponge bob with natural hair is going to ruin this company's reputation. She needs classes regarding...

Went in for lunch yesterday 7-9-2024 and was not impressed! 1st the bathroom was nasty! No paper towels, no soap to wash my hands! Then they were out of wings! I hand to order boneless because they were out of the traditional wings! Like yall sell chicken! How do you run out OF CHICKEN???? Then It took almost 25 minutes to get my order of 6 boneless wings and a order of red beans and rice! When I got home to eat it the bean cup was only a quarter of the way full! Like almost 3.00 for a quarter of a cup of beans and tea spoon of rice! Like come on now! There were no napkins or forks in the lobby and the two works were more worries about answering their phones that rang non stop than attending to the store or it's customer!
