Went through the drive thru for the first visit. The young lady at the window immediately said “wait one moment” and then continued to finish telling her coworker a story. Only then did she ask for our orders, and then ASKED how much we would like to tip. She didn’t ask IF, she asked how much based on the choices prompted on her system. We wouldn’t have minded if she had held it out to us to select, but she basically shouted this question out for other staff members and honestly even other cars to hear. Just super awkward for a drive thru service. I like to tip and show appreciation to who prepares my food, but this felt really rude and strange. When we asked to do a custom tip (I.e. not one of the shouted options) she then called out to someone to come help her fix the amount for the tip. It drew even more attention! I don’t know if this just went over her head but it’s honestly not always an expectation to tip at a quick service establishment. We pulled up after paying to wait for the cones, and she had to come out and ask for the order again. So clearly her priority was on the tip. 🤦♀️ I get it, but it really just soiled the experience and I probably won’t return knowing that I have to shout the tipping amount out for some crushed...
Read moreWe have not great experiences here before but decided to stop by here tonight and give them another shot. After sitting at the drive thru window for a couple of minutes, rang their bell a few times. Was about to leave when another car pulled in to order at the window, I waited to see if anyone would come up there and no one did. This was almost an hour before they closed. The open signs were on and tip jars were out. He ran the bell at the door and knocked. No one ever came up. They ended up leaving, after being there waiting for a total of 12 mins we left. When we were passing back by we saw someone at the drive thru window and someone taking their order. We came back around and stopped in, a girl opened the window and I told her how long we had waiting and about the other car coming up waiting and leaving to. It seemed to not bother her one bit. She said oh sorry I was in the back and the bells don’t work…. 1… why have them if they don’t work 2… you were in the back for at least 15 minutes not checking to see if any customers are there?! Totally ridiculous. Needless to say we...
Read moreThe snoballs are delicious!! The only reason they didnt receive 5 stars is because the wait time is still a little long which is understandable but no one says anything. At the walk up window they would take the order in front of you and shut the window when you walk up. I have managed many of shifts with children so I understand training them. They need to know to at least say I will be with you in just a moment. Also I called to see what time they were closing and the young lady answered but simply said hello. You should always introduce your facility. Granted she was a sweet and polite young lady. These are NOT major issues but could turn a seriously picky person off. Keep up the good work. I will be back to try many...
