Southern Seasons - Tea Room & Tea Emporium — Restaurant in Rome

Put this destination on your radar. A must visit when in Rome, GA! I was looking to dine at a Tea Room while visiting Georgia. I came across the charming Southern Seasons Tea Room online and decided to make a brief getaway to Rome GA. While the journey was much longer than I expected, it was totally worth it. Upon my arrival I was warmly greeting by Courtney. She introduced me to four freshly brewed ice teas, one of which I was to choose as part of my lunch menu. Difficult to chose just one. The Venue As soon as I drove in and saw their signage, I knew I was going to have an exceptional experience. Absolutely beautiful. No detail was spared in the decor and themed tables. The Food My menu of choice included finger sandwiches, appetizer and dessert. Very filling, I ended up taking a few sandwiches to go. They offer a selection of lunch options on line. I love their ease of reserving, selecting and paying on line. The Teas They have teas I have never heard of. I decided to purchase a Scottish Breakfast tea. The Staff Thank You Hailey and Courtney for making this out of towner feel so at home and welcome. I truly appreciate the travel scones and treats. Southern Seasons is the perfect day trip destination, I look forward to returning. For those of you who visit, please leave reviews. We had a small intimate baby shower for afternoon tea service. What a lovely time spent with family celebrating two mothers to be. We adorned ourselves with hats, dressed accordingly, and this place was the perfect setting!

Haley, the owner was very joyful and accommodating. I enjoyed her presence, her smile lights up the room and makes you feel welcome. The service provided by Esme, Hannah and Virginia were outstanding. This was a last minute event so the week prior to the event I had questions, Esme was very kind and informative each time.

The place was exactly what we wanted in a par-tea! The variety of teas we had were aromatic and so good. The food was delicious. They were also accommodating to meet the needs of allergies to nuts & berries. The atmosphere, the service, the laughter, and the beautiful music by Esme as a pianist was top notch!

We felt as though we made friends In this place of business, that made us feel like home! We can’t wait to gather...

My family and I went for the High Tea experience (Christmas themed one). I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to experience a full high tea.

The tea room is absolutely beautiful, and so much care is put into the table sets and decorations. It was such an enjoyable atmosphere.

We got to try two different types of tea, an alcoholic drink, a huge variety of sweets (2 types of macarons, 3 types of scones, fruit tart, chocolate tart, gelato, cake) and multiple savory items (tea sandwich, quiches, cheese cookie, spinach pocket).

The staff are also absolutely wonderful, and the owner really cares about each of her customers. She came around to each table twice to make sure we were having a magnificent time (which we surely were!)For this Christmas event, we also had a wonderful singer come and sing a few carols.

A date, a birthday, a celebration, or just for fun - I would 100% recommend...
