Short Version: Tasty food and really cool rock and roll vibe. Prime location in downtown Rome. Food is overpriced compared to other sushi places in Rome in my opinion, but others might find the ambiance and location worth the up-charge.
Detailed Review: My wife and I ate here on opening night and had a really great experience overall! We started with the egg rolls as an appetizer to share ($7.65). My wife got a second order of the egg rolls along with the veggie roll ($5.45) for her entree. I got a side of fried rice without the peas or carrots ($5.45), along with the salmon roll with the spicy mayo and eel sauce on the side ($8.75 on the menu but $10.45 on my check. Didn't notice the discrepancy until just now but I think it can be tossed up to opening day bumps for now. Will update upon future visits). See below for a more detailed breakdown.
Service - 5/5 The person who sat us was very friendly. Our server was kind and had no issues answering our questions about the menu. One thing that's always important to me is drink refills (I hate being thirsty and not being able to find my server to refill my drink) and our server was on point with the refills, so gold star there!
Ambiance - 5/5 Definitely one of the highlights of this place. The guitars on the wall, the hanging microphone themed lights, and the music videos playing around the restaurant all add to the rock and roll theme. It's nice to have something unique on broad street, and I think that this is a really fun new option.
Food - 5/5 Our food was good! Most of it was just good, no better or worse than the sushi or fried rice from other places in Rome, but we also got the simplest sushi you can get, so their other options might shine a little brighter. One thing that did stand out was the egg rolls. We agreed that these were some of the best egg rolls we've ever had, and my wife wound up getting a second order for her entree!
Pricing - 1/5 This is the only downside of the restaurant. The bang for your buck is low, and I felt like I didn't get quite enough food for what I payed. The fried rice was priced about the same as what the competition offers, but the portion was significantly smaller than what I'd expect from other places in Rome. The salmon roll was portioned comparably to other places around town, but was definitely more expensive than I'd expected it to be. (My go-to sushi place in Rome charges $4.99 for a six piece salmon roll of the same quality). I'm sure that some of that goes towards the cool ambiance and the prime location, but for me it's hard to justify paying about twice as much for sushi that's not really any different from what's offered a little ways down the road.

Read morePlease do not waste your money eating here, especially if you like good quality sushi because this isn’t it. Our service was also spotty at best as our waitress only showed up when food was brought out or to bring the check. We never once received refills on our drinks. Appetizers: We ordered the egg rolls and the pot stickers. The egg rolls were good other than the fact that they were burnt on one end which leads me to believe they’re not truly deep fried since the cooking wasn’t consistent with a fryer. The pot stickers were actually really good and probably the only decent thing we ordered. Sushi: We ordered the Prima Dona Roll and the Sweet Home Alabama Roll. The rice on our sushi was semi crunchy and the rolls themselves were poorly put together. The taste was decent but I couldn’t get past the crunchy rice so I didn’t even finish my roll. Not to mention they’re $13-18 a roll when you can go other places and get better sushi for half the price. Entrees: We ordered the filet hibachi dinner and the ramen. I’m not sure what type of sauce they put on their filet but it’s a true shame to a good steak because the sauce was terrible. Good steak doesn’t require any type of sauce in my opinion but they seem to think theirs needed some which tells me all I need to know. The broth that the ramen came in tasted soured or ruined and whoever creates the menu needs to do some research on what real ramen is. The noodles were cooked properly but ruined by the taste of the broth. The atmosphere was really nice despite the food being subpar. The music choices are consistent with the theme and the restaurant was clean as well as the restrooms. However, we will not be returning to this restaurant or wasting our...
