Stella's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Romeoville

I've been coming here for Friday night karaoke for years, and my fiance and I live nearby, so we sometimes pop in on other nights of the week as well. My friends and I all love this place and we're not going to stop going there. That said, looking at it with an objective eye, there is room for improvement. The main issue is that the bar is not always well stocked -- sometimes they are out of standard brands of liquor like Captain Morgan or Patron, and they've run out of Miller Lite on a couple occasions. They also recently have transitioned to cash only (with the exception of Friday nights), although they do have an ATM there, so it's not too inconvenient. Aside from the water down alcohol, I wouldn't recommend going here on a weekend night, bartender has poor unfriendly attitude, rolls her eyes all the time, and leaves bar unattended to go the bp gas station unable to serve. She has a history of calling the police when there wasn't even an issue.

Also police were just in last night looking for Geri the owner who can't ever seem to run back camera footage for RPD. I never heard anything good about the owner. Much rather give my money to Stone City, Larry's and Lost Acres. The bathrooms aren't sanitary at stellas and Ive seen how the shut down on weekends nothing...

My jukebox credits were blatantly disregarded for a Nascar race when Three regulars came in and started talking about Nascar, Collen was working and I even asked her before I played if it was ok, I played nothing crazy, The Eagles, Kenny Rogers, Bryan Adams is all. Here before Happy Hour, the regulars showed up for Happy Hour and got all her attention. I am brown and felt very disrespected. Please watch the security footage.
