I’m so sad because I wanted the food to be good! I ordered red snapper over rice, an egusi &fufu meal, and puff puff over the phone. When I initially called the man on the phone had an attitude (very short and irritable). When I got there he asked me what I ordered because he either forgot to put my order in or forgot about the order completely because I placed over the phone. He told me another 15 . 15 minutes later her told me another 5 minutes. Then he asked me again what I ordered and he told me he "didn’t know” I wanted puff puff (which I don’t believe to be true because why did you asked me what I got for the 2nd time?). He asked if I still wanted it which I did so I waited even longer. At that point I was annoyed because I’ve been waiting for 40 minutes. He told me $5 for the puff puff but I didn’t think it was fair to be charged when a. He was the one who forgot to put my order in for it b. I waited a very long time. I expressed my frustration and he said,”Just because I place an order over the phone doesn’t mean priority…” he’s busy, this and that. After some back and forth I paid it. The food wasn’t what I was not good. The egusi did not taste flavorful or fresh at all. The red snapper was hard and rubbery. The plantains were hard. The only tolerable thing on my plate was the rice! The bad customer service is one thing but not liking the food is very upsetting, I was so...
Read moreI’m Nigerian so I can say the food was nice. I’ve definitely had better but it was not bad at all. I got pounded yam and egusi with chicken and a side of jellof rice. The jellof rice needed more salt but maybe that was done on purpose because of different people’s tastebuds. The pounded yam was small though It’s probably a third to half of the size of what I’ve gotten in any Nigerian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Now having said that the egusi was a good size. I have leftovers to eat later with something else. I would definitely go back. The food was good and I understand people are just trying to run their business and make money that’s worth their time and effort. I...
Read moreVery very BAD!!! Doesn't taste like it use to years ago. I spent $55 yesterday at the Romulus location, I got puff puff, egusi soup, jollof rice and vegetable soup. The puff puff was brought out of the freezer and warm up in the microwave , very soggy/hot and it tasted like freezer bite. The egusi and vegetable soup tasted like bleach was added in it ...very horrible. The jollof rice has so much cabbage in it that you can barely see the rice and it was so soggy like a lot of stew was added to it . All this for $55 and it went straight to the trash, you guys are costly and also selling rubbish, one day you will poison somebody and that will cost you maybe after that you...
