The staff at this shop worked very efficiently and put together the orders as quickly as possible, and the end product was well-made and the ingredients were nice and fresh. However, the customer service was perfunctory to the point of rudeness.
I stood at the counter waiting to be served after the previous customer had given her order and went to wait for pick up, and I was not acknowledged in any way. When the staff did look my way, instead of greeting me, he merely looked at me expectantly. I gave my order, and he went to work without a word.
I'm glad the staff works fast and efficiently, but to stand in front of a counter for five minutes or more without a "Please wait a moment" and to give my order without a "May I help you" and move on without a "thank you" is really poor service even considering this is fast food in an airport.
People don't have to like their job, but at the same time, making it unpleasant for the customer means that customers will likely stay away in the future. He then told me ~Baby she’s standing next to loud oven baby. She can’t hear you. First of all, I am a grown 42 year old woman. It was a very Unprofessional on his part to call me, baby from behind the counter where he was doing nothing to help anyone. when I got to the register Minnay was rude because apparently Dre told her that I wanted a cup of soup instead of a bowl so she had to remake a bowl which made her have an attitude like the world was coming to an end. Read moreStarted off bad, and kept getting worse. Having never been to this establishment before, we looked for a sign to tell us where to place our order. There is a finger pointing the way and says "Order Here"... so that is where we went. After the staff all saw us standing in that spot for over 5 minutes, I heard a woman say, sarcastically I might add, "IF you want to order, you need to come over here". I walked over and waited for her to acknowledge me or look at me.... SOMETHING. FINALLY, without looking up, she said, "What would you like?" And "Flat, White, or Wheat?" She did this for both sandwiches and then NOTHING ELSE.... After a few minutes, I asked for the Steakhouse Beef sandwich to come without Horseradish and she abruptly told me "That's over there" - still not looking up. From there, it really didn't get much better... I felt like a HUGE inconvenience to everyone I spoke to. There were no napkins anywhere, only 1 diet coke in the cooler, and trash all over the floor. For $32+ for 2 small sandwiches, one water and one diet coke - I would expect and hope for a lot BETTER...
