Starbucks — Restaurant in Romulus

The server seems to be completely inattentive, dazed, or perhaps simply uninterested in her job. I asked for a vanilla nitro cream cold brew, which she hears as an Americano. I clarified, and she mumbled something about the nitro machine not working (I think). So I switch to a caramel shaken espresso, and she mumbled something like “oh we can’t make the caramel or cinnamon” (lol what). So I revert to my basic order — cold brew with cream and simple syrup. Her glazed over eyes seem to register some semblance of recognition at that point and the order is taken. When I get my drink, it’s a plain old cold brew with nothing in it, nor room for cream. The low rating is not entirely the fault of staff. Starbucks not equipping this location with the ability to warm food is ridiculous. They get away with it because there is no grab and go option near by, the closest is McDonald's but it's not very close. The barista taking orders this morning was clearly frustrated having to explain not being able to heat food items, they didn't have adverted items available, a muffin for the gentleman ahead of me and blonde roast espresso, not sure if they were just out of stock or never do but they don't have to be great to do ok without viable options nearby. Requested a bagel sliced and toasted, received a bagel that was neither sliced nor toasted and when I walked back and requested that the bagel be sliced and toasted was told that they do not have the ability to slice bagels that they had given me a butter knife to do so and that they also don't have a toaster. When I asked if they could take any action the answer was basically no. The individual who I spoke to then requested that I write this review because evidently this is a common complaint and management has taken absolutely no action to rectify...
