FlashPoint Firearms — Local services in Roscoe Township

Purchased a new Colt M4 Carbine from Flashpoint Firearms early February 2023. Brad from Flashpoint was extremely helpful and friendly. I'm new to the 2A community and just started my firearm collection. Brad didn't make me feel stupid for lacking some basic knowledge - instead he offered to meet with me off hours and help teach me basic cleaning/care for my new rifle. Bought after the new Illinois "Assult Rifle" ban, as I'm currently exempt from the law as a plaintiff in Devore's suit against the state ban. The entire process was easy. Brad had a list of clients who are exempt. He verified my name, then it was business as usual. Not much "red tape" at all. It was an easy experience and I will definitely be back. New store with reasonable prices from what I can tell. Good selection of firearms and accessories. 5 stars because the guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful. Their goal is to have a range as well but they have to be in operation for a year(?) due to insurance or something like that.

One thing that separates this store from some of the other local shops is the selection of Rock River Arms firearms. Apparently they're a local partner of theirs and they have some really nice one-off rifles in stock. If I had more $$$ I'd probably end up spending too much of it here.
