I was dying for some real coffee as our only had decaf & this place was just up the block & has a drive through. The pricey coffee was okay, Starbucks favorites, al la knockoff, is on the menu. The muffins were wonderful, but skip the bagels & the micro- mini amount of generic cream cheese they give you (sorry, NYC bagels spoil you, lol). The service was friendly, but the girl asked me for a tip, asked if I wanted to add a tip that is, and no, no I don't want to start tipping everyone in food service for doing their jobs. Wait staff get tips because they "wait" on you, making sure all your dining needs are met and your dining experience pleasant. They don't just take your order & hand it out the window. Also, waiters get paid less than minimum wage & must make-up the difference in tips, while fast food servers of any type get at least minimum wage. So if you want tips, become a waiter/waitress in a restaurant. No matter what, never, ever ask for a tip. It's unseemly & reflects poorly on the buisness. I waited tables for a couple years in college & it...
Read moreReally want to give them more stars. Coffee is great. However very slow service.
2 month updat....Thought I would update my review. Service in the drive thru is about the same; it's very slow if there are more than 2-3 cars in line. Going inside is usually a much faster way to go especially if you just get a refill. Which brings me to my next complaint. For over 2 months I've been going in and getting a refill and taking my OWN mug and getting charged $1.51. Now all of a sudden they have a new "rule". If you don't have their mug then they charge you $2.00! The same for a large coffee in THEIR paper cup. Come on Biggby! Your mugs are no good. they don't keep coffee hot; on top of that I can go down the street to Duncan Donuts who will take any mug and only charge $1.07. Duncan Donuts gets that customers don't want to be forced to buy a cheap cup; customers want to be able to choose what cup they use and not be charged a premium for it. Not sure I"ll continue my morning ritual...
Read moreThis is the worst BIGGBY ever. I love BIGGBY. Im from michigan and BIGGBY is my go to. But this BIGGBY never meets expectations.
This experience was exceptionally dreadful. I sat at the speaker for 5 minutes before being greeted. When they finally greeted me they were short and snappy the entire time.
I thought maybe they were short staffed, and busy. They were not either. They had 5 people working, the employees were busier talking and texting than serving the customers. Their lobby was also empty. I spent 10 plus minutes waiting on a plain bagel, a mocktail, and a caramel apple cider. Only people on line. Not my normal BIGGBY experience, but typical at this location.
Edit Below- The last few times I have come here this BIGGBY has improved drastically. They have trainers, and seem to be so much more put together. The last few months I have been driving to Niles a majority of the time. I’m glad my local Biggby is improved!...
