Pizza King — Restaurant in Roseland

I recently moved back here from Colorado and wanted a Pizza King pizza. I even told the very nice cashier/hostess lady about moving back and we had a nice talk. Mentioned that I know this pizza isn't 'the best' but was good for the novelty of Pizza King pizza.

I was wrong. This was absolutely delicious. Everything about it was perfect! The crust was crisp, the cheese melty, the little square pepperoni had taste, texture was great. This was just hands down an amazing pizza. I'm not ashamed to say I even ate about a 3rd of it before I got home.

My son, who likes pizza but is very hit or miss, ate like 5 pieces of it. (He's 2, and they are small peices but still...thats him stuffing himself which he doesn't do).

There are not a lot of these places around and I thought it was just my mind of 'its ok ish, but not that great' and I have not been so happy to wrong.

Pizza King, thank you for being here and thank you to the staff who made the experience the best part of my entire week. Yes, it was that GOOD. Please, do yourselves a favor, go...

We stopped in last night and ordered a pizza for the first time for pizza. King have heard such great things about this place to go in and get root service from a fellow name. D Joe who sat there with his back to me while I was standing at the counter until a young lady in the back. Let him know I was standing. Then the whole transaction he just seemed like he didn't want to deal with anybody. I kind of brushed that off.I was just excited to try a new pizza.I get my pizza home and I've got this finely chopped pepperoni and finely ground sausage that made the pizza so unenjoyable. For ordering a sixteen inch pizza , two pieces of the cheesy garlic , toast and an order of six breadsticks do not believe that I should have went to bed at hungary still. Definitely Was just not the experience that we were hoping for. I hope they read this comment And address the situation about the counter staff. Never been to pizza king so didn't know what to expect. Ordered a 10" sausage and mushroom pizza. I really dislike Tostino's frozen pizza and I can honestly say that this is exactly what this pizza reminded me of. Worst of all, I've had better tasting Tostino's pizzas. The pizza was extremely bland and after only 4 small squares between two people, it went into the trash as neither of us would eat it. I ate one piece as soon as it came out of the store and one when we got home about 7 minutes later. The colder it got the worse it tasted. Extremely disappointed and will not recommend nor return.
