Edited to add: We were not given replacement drinks. We literally left immediately after seeing the dead gnats. I am honestly disgusted at the terrible customer service, disgusting environment, and now this reply, which shows that they refuse to take responsibility for their actions. No replacement drink was provided and I will make sure to tell everyone that this place sucks and ensure no one comes. Definitely go to Brothers or any other place in town. When we walked in, everything seemed fine enough (there were four in my party). We were greeted shortly after sitting and our drinks came out quickly. The bartender asked if we wanted to start a tab, we replied that we were going to be splitting the bill four ways. He took one card and let us know that we could just split it four ways after the fact. After taking a sip from my drink, I noticed that they were not one, but two dead gnats in my drink. After noticing this, I was no longer interested in drinking a drink from the establishment, so I took mine and one of my friend’s to the counter to show the bartender, get my money back, and leave. While waiting, I noticed that my friends drink also had two dead gnats in it. I showed the bartender and he gave me back my card and asked if I wanted another drink. I assumed that meant that I would not be charged. One of the other people with us also left her drink and one person had a closed bottle of beer that he did finish because he figured it was not made there, so it probably wasn’t as bad. After leaving, I noticed that the bartender had charged my card for all the drinks ($40.50)- one of which had one sip out of it, and 2 of which had not been drank at all. I was not only disgusted by the fact that they were four dead bugs between two drinks, but also by the fact that I was charged for 3 drinks that weren’t drank due to the...
Read moreI visited my home of Michiana & brought my partner to Cheers b/c I love seeing the progress they’ve made over the past few years—& when they made some new wings, I’m like, “put me in, Coach.” I also used to live up the road when it was under former ownership. I love them, and continuously send them love, but I gotta tell you, THIS is exciting & I have my own spots in St Louis & Jax, FL lol.
We got the sweet n’ spicy and the Aunt Matilda. I was on the fence on getting others due to familiarity & craving what I know, but after hearing about the story of Aunt Matilda sauce & the flavors, I dove into the saucy experience.
Aunt Matilda was a blend of many savory flavors and enough sweet & ingredients to balance it all out.
Sweet n’ Spicy. Loved them & super snackable—even when I was full, I wanted to continue to eating both style of wings 😂 My partner & I wanted a little more spice on the sweet n spicy bc it was mostly sweet. She is not a spicy fan either. If I was at my house I would have added maybe red pepper flakes or something as a hint of, “oh hey there, heat.”
That said, these are the best wings I’ve had at any bar in the area. I’m stoked to visit again when I am in town & try all of the flavors.
If I lived here, I’d be getting these, in bulk, for every game & every function that needs some snacks. It totally works as dinner too. EAT THESE lol.
I’ve had wings in various states & these are 🔥
P.S. spirits & beer...
Read moreCame here in support of the live music this evening. The bar itself seemed like a decent place. Visually the food looked good. My bf took a literal step off the concrete sidewalk (where security was) with his beer and he was screamed at and damn near tackled by not one, but two employees. He tried to explain he wasn't trying to leave, but just getting in view of the car so it would unlock for me. They could have simply asked him to leave his beer prior to exiting the patio area. There are ZERO signs posted as to where alcohol is/is not allowed. The male bouncer/security immediately snatched the beer from him, dumped it out (3/4 full) and attempted to kick us out. I spoke calmly to the male security personnel and had to all but get on me knees and beg to be allowed a second chance, which was granted. I was initially told "this isn't up for debate". I apologized many times to both security personne, the female was receptive but the male was less than interested in my apologies. I understand there are rules and laws and no one wants to get into trouble, but this seemed overzealous and put a bad taste in my mouth. Neither myself nor anyone in our group will be returning. Someone else in our group experience a less than kind bartender for asking what liqours were in a...
