Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Rosemead

So Olive Garden is definitely the best restaurant , my girlfriend Alejandra and our children Jazlynn and Steve love the experience. On January 4th, we had the extreme pleasure of sitting in a booth. Let's just say our OG team member Alexis V is extremely organized and very professional. Quality of food is by far one of the most important parts of dining in. Alexis guaranteed our meal was prepared correctly , while she also made sure to check on us every time she passed by. We could feel her positive Energy , making eye contact and smiling to make you feel like you are part of the OG family. Remember, this is a very busy restaurant. Everyone loves Olive Garden. Alexis made sure we had a memorable evening. This also happened to be our children's birthdays, Jazlynn and Steve. While really savoring the moment, I look over at another table and I see the table hasn't yet been attended. I notice a Man named Daniel N who was very well dressed, stop by and check on the table. He immediately begins to take their order. It caught our attention. After going to the front desk to discreetly inform Alexis we were celebrating our kids B day we noticed Daniel N is actually the Manager. By the way if you let your OG member know, they will sing happy Bday to the person leveling up their age. Talk about leading by example. Seeing Daniel step in and instantly start taking that families' order was impressive. This compliments the restaurant so much. We absolutely loved seeing this. Seeing a Manager lead his team displays a strong work ethic. As a customer, we get to see the side of dining in. I can say we never felt like customers, We felt like we were at home with our family. DANIEL N and Alexis V created a memory for our family. Dining out is much more than just food and customer service. It is also Positive vibes, smiling, engaging with your OG family members, creating memories, laughing, and taking pictures. These qualities of dining out play a significant part in your experience at a restaurant.

My First and Last Visit to this location. It was 12/30/19 - 8pm bar area more like play ground for families with todlers. Seated at filthy table that took 20 mins to get someone to clean it which was poorly cleaned and ask to clean oily and cream smears and crumbs off the table and while getting crumbs thrown to my date and myself without any courtesy service of cleaning the table again. Then waited another 15 mins for waitress. Finally get waiter to take our order and it was like pulling teeth and made us feel really uncomfortable like she was being bothered. Once we recieved our food it was poorly served and once again had to pull teeth from waitress feeling bothered for asking missing things such utensils for our food and other things that usually comes with certian dishes. Then started to eat the food ordered it was terrible everything was super salty over drowned with dressing and sauces. The salad was like really warm like sat out in the sun warm drowned with dressing very little garnisments or mix and like 2 olives in it mostly was straight cabbage. The soup Zuppa Toscana a favorite of mine was very salty and outer bowl dripping soup making seem filthy dirty. The Zoodles Primavera was over cooked and drowned with sauce and the chicken was blacken burnt with that burnt oil taste. The Berry Sangria was straight syrup sugar and water for two glasses for $6.50 wheres the alcohol? Should've ordered like bud light. Bread sticks cold and drowned in salty. Since I ordered soup & salad it was a challenge to get next round and just keep getting worst with service and the food. This the first time I have ever had bad experience terrible service and below the food standard of Olive Garden. This Olive Garden has No Class and Disgrace to Italian food and other Olvie Gardens. Dont waste your money here unless you like bad Italian food, bad service and bad experience for $$$$. The manager could careless as we watch him run this Olive Garden like the Home Town Buffet which explains why waitresses are below the standard customer service our waitress aka Justina was so terrible she should be better off working fast food franchises. Arrived at 3:20pm. Ordered my drink and needed time to look at menu. Once ordered, went to use their restroom and only 1 soap pump was working. The other one had been taken apart and all the pieces were on the counter. Both paper towels machines broken. There were paper towels on the floor. I asked an employee for paper towels and told him restroom needed attention. Server brought food and disappear until the end of me eating. 2 other servers bought my drink refill and more bread stick. Finally after I finished eating my Original Server appeared with the check. I told her, I thought she went home? She said she was taking care of another table in the other room. Manager could have done that and Im a very slow eater. She was gone for avery long time. It was 4:30 when she told me that. So many employees working at this time and restroom could have been cleaned. Guess these young employees don't want to clean the restrooms. Just had my Original Server telling me she is leaving and wants me to close my account. I hate being rush. If she is going home, then leave. I don't need to leave also. Want to relax and enjoy my refill of drink. I told her I wasn't ready to leave and would pay later. Original Server appeared again for me to close my account. I got mad and told her she is rushing me and if she wants to go home, go. She wouldn't leave the table. I gave her the money for my account so she would stop Harassing me. She said another server was going to take of me. I just wanted to relax from eating a heavy meal, enjoy my drink and finish texting. I am now ready to leave and now I'm waiting for my change. Another Server brought my change. I asked her for the receipt and she had it crumbled up in her had. She wasn't going to give it to me if I didn't ask. The restaurant is empty and there is no reason for me to leave. This store needs to retrain this employee and appoint someone to clean this nasty restroom. So disappointed with this staff. I left no Tip. I don't visit Olive Garden, until now. Food was good, restroom nasty and Server pushy and disappeared until bringing check.
