Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Rosemount

Update: this place has been much better since I posted my original review 2 years ago. A couple times per month my wife and I have beer and pizza Fridays and this is our usual pizza. They do well everytime now. Great service, they seem to have enough staff so no long waits anymore. And we like their pizza.

Hit or miss. When they hit half of the time, it's great. Great service and i really like the pizza. When they miss, i get my order an hour after they promised it online and i have to wait in the store forever while 1 or 2 of the 6 people working are actually making pizzas for the crowd that is accumulating. Or they miss by screwing up my order...not in such a way that i can't eat it. I always order extra sauce and extra cheese. Rarely does it look like there is extra either...one time i had to add cheese my pizza was so bald. If you order online on a Friday or Saturday and the website says done in 30 minutes....DO NOT take that seriously. If it is 4pm or later, better give them an hour or more and maybe your pizza will be done when you arrive. You are better off ordering at about noon...

I've visited this papa murphys a number of times. The food is always good, as papa murphys usually is, but this particular franchise is hit or miss in terms of customer service. Sundays are typically the worst customer service days, and one of the most frequent days we visit. Little things like they will not open a second before their clock says 11am even if everyone is just standing around inside and people are waiting. I've even heard a manager or assistant manager comment about how he won't open a second early. And too bad for you if you drop a pizza or spill something you purchase there on your way out. No matter that they can just write that food off as spoilage, you will be paying full price again. We're moving out of the Rosemount area, and I'm hoping the Papa Murphy's closest to our new location has better customer service training. Because we like the product, but don't feel good about visiting...

I recently stopped by a Papa Murphys in Rosemount, and I have to say: Very impressed. As I walked in the store I was greeted with multiple hello's and smiling faces. Being my first time I didn't know what to get. The employees gave their opinions on what their favorite pizza was, and I ended up getting the Cowboy. After ordering the pizza, I decided I wanted a thin crust instead of the regular. The employees were already making my pizza when I asked them if they could change crusts, and they didn't hesitate one second. I told them that it's okay, they can finish the pizza, but they insisted they make it the way I wanted it. After about a 2 minute wait I received my new pizza, and the employee explained how the pizza should be cooked. My family and I ate the pizza later that night, and we all agreed that that was the best pizza we have ever had. Excellent service. Excellent quality. We will...
