CHINA WOK — Restaurant in Rosemount

Very yummy food but they don’t advertise that their spring rolls have shrimp in them. My mother and I ordered from DoorDash and she has a severe seafood allergy and order the spring rolls because all it said in the description was vegetables. She took a bite and immediately saw the shrimp and spit it out. She still had a reaction but it could have been worse if she had not seen it. They need to put on the description if something has seafood in it since it’s a common allergy. We called to try them and tell them that there was shrimp it in when it didn’t say anything about it. He got defensive and basically said nothing he could do about it the spring rolls here have shrimp and chicken in them. Which would not be an issue if they had just put that in the description. He refused to help us at all and said if we want a refund we have to go through DoorDash. DoorDash didn’t have anything to do with the allergy and they refused to be held reliable/accountable. I love this place it’s my favorite Chinese food spot and has been for years. But after how they treated my mother with an allergy that they put in the food without warning I’m not sure I can go back or recommend them anymore. We order here pretty often. My whole family does actually cus it's so darn good! Normally my fav is the pork fried rice for the hubby and the chicken wings double portions for the him and the kids.

other favs are the chicken chow mein. I like the chicken with veggies delights with white sauce on the side. You really cant go wrong with anything. lobster sauce is really good... My brother loves the roasted pork with broc. cream cheese wontons are yummy.

Don't forget to swing nearby to Mr. Wish and grab some bubble tea! Rosemount surely has it all now.

I guess egg rolls are something I'd order elsewhere like iwok Pho in savage on hwy 13- those egg rolls are the bomb. Why? cus they aren't anything special here and kinda basic for the price.

Ordered off of GrubHub so I paid more for delivery to Hastings than some local places but it was so worth it! I don't know anything about their dine in, obviously...dinners made to go were all super fresh! Not just still hot on arrival but fresh vegetables not canned (oh, I have seen it!). The Beef and scallops was a combination that I had never seen before. Just like beef and broccoli but more vegetables and SCALLOPS. The leftovers the next day were even better as the scallop flavor permeated everything. The missing star was for the seafood combination that looked to have a beautiful lobster tail in it but proved to be difficult to get out of the shell even though it was cut like it should be. It was tough...cooked too much? Not enough? Older? Under heat lamps a long time? Frozen and microwaved? Who knows ... but very disappointing.
