Daphne's Greek & Mediterranean — Restaurant in Roseville

This has nothing to do with their food. Went in for an interview. Arrived 15 mins early in case I needed to fill out a application. My interview was scheduled for 530. They were interviewing a guy that was telling his life story. Bashing the place that he is working at now. Everyone knows you don't do that. But he just kept talking and talking and talking. About 550 they brought me an application and asked me to fill it out.Why could they not have done that when I first got there? By then I was irritated!! Didn't look very clean in there, no music, no TV nothing but this guy yammering on and on. Very unprofessional people they trulySUCK! Needless to say I rolled out. Waste of my time, my gas and effort. I realized if I did get hired I would have to work with this guy and listen to his problems not his solutions on how to fix whatever is going on with him. Watched the cashier fill up the plastic utensils touching them without gloves, rang up a customer before that. Did she wash her hands before she touched the utensils no...

Worse than horrible. The front lady didn't even greet us for 1 minute as we were standing waiting to order as she is talking with a co worker. Found out she is the assistant manager. It gets worse.....

As I'm waiting for my food the assistant manager is eating right next to where My food is being prepared. And then she starts talking to friends while the phone is just ringing and ringing.

I saw one couple walk in and right back out because of her. Sorry you are having money walk right out of your doors Daphne's.

Fire the female assistant manager (Ashley)and your store might actually get busy!

Taylor was the only sensible person in the store. She should be promoted. Food was actually very good but at the end of the day, one bad apple...

We love Daphane's! I ordered the mix and match plate. With 2 chicken choices because it's that delish. Served with beautiful yellow rice and Greek salad, it's a well balanced meal. We asked for our pitas to be uncut. Then I create the perfect bites...warm pita, tzatziki sauce, rice, chicken chunk sliced thin and cucumber and tomato pieces from the salad. So satisfying. My husband is a huge fan of the falafel that are always toasty on the outside and flavorful on the inside. Treat yourself once in a while to a piece of Baklava. The nutty treat is a nice change.
