Thought we would try something new tonight. Lots of good reviews and busy but was not liked by us and we won’t be back. Food was room temp (cheese didn’t even melt at all). Nothing special about a hot dog with minimal toppings and just on a Hawaiian roll which does not hold up well as a hot dog bun even though Hawaiian rolls are really good tasting. The hot dog itself barely seemed cooked. Tots were also not even really warm and did not come with any dipping sauce and they didn’t ask if we wanted any when we ordered. When food came to table we asked for ranch and was told that is normally extra to pay for so you would think when ordering we would be asked (and the ranch was watered down and not very good tasting ranch). Also with the prices that they already are charging, a little dipping sauce should easily be included since the tots didn’t have any flavor on their own. Not sure ever been anywhere where the tots do not come with some sort of dipping sauce. Food is brought to you which is nice and there are some condiments on the table for you but others like basic salt and pepper you have to go get. If you put some condiments on a table just commit to putting the other basic ones there so people are not walking around trying to collect everything and seeing what the table has and does not have and what they have to now go find. Place does not have enough room to have everyone walking around like that. The table even next to us left almost all their food and the employees were not sure if they left or not to now if they should pick it up yet because so much food was left so I don’t think we were alone in what we thought about the food. I’m sure if you are drinking lots of beer which is what this place seems a lot about, the food may seem better? It was nice that even though there were a lot of people in there, it did not seem overly loud so the place did good with the...

This time tried something different off their menu and went with the Haus Buffalo Chicken Wings with a side of blue cheese for dipping action. These were fantastic! Nice amount of meat on the wings, great zingy seasoning, and a nice texture on the bite. Sadly I snapped the photo on the last two that were left out of the tray of six.
PREVIOUS VISIT: Tried their "Little Mule Burrito" and it is a beautiful thing. This bad boy has three sunny side up eggs tucked up into its underbits along with smoked bacon, tater tots, white american cheese, pickled jalapenos, and supposedly cotija cheese and chipotle aioli are hiding somewhere inside. Very tasty. Very filling.
PREVIOUS VISIT: Fun vibe, very friendly & attentive staff, good selection of food (not so average hot dogs, sausages, burgers, burritos). I'd give this a 3.5-4 star as I haven't tried enough on the menu.
Went with the T-Mex (beef chorizo and pepperjack cheese sausage, avocado, chipotle aoili, haus slaw, pickled jalapenos, and pickled peppers all hanging out on a sweet Hawaiian bun/roll) — it was good, just hard to eat a full bite without getting it all over the place. I liked the creativity on this one.
Also went with a classic - the Braut. No complaints.
After spending some time going down their 20+ beers on tap lineup, a nice pint of Dust Bowl's "Peace Love Haze" IPA went well with the lunch. I'm definitely going back to try out their happy hour and go in early and try the tasty looking breakfast burritos that were...
Read moredog haus biergarten is such a great addition to the rocklin area! SERVICE it's a walk up and order situation which is great (especially if you're a larger party). the staff were all friendly and the gal taking our order made some great recommendations! FOOD we are huge breakfast burrito fans so we already knew this was going to be a fab spot for us. we opted for the würst burrito (with scrambled eggs) and bronco burrito (with sunny side up eggs). stick with the sunny side up eggs -- WAY better and almost makes the burrito creamier in the least gross way possible. SO good. the crunch of the tots just really elevate the burrito! the only reason we didn't give 5 stars is it would've been yummy if they had fresh salsa available with the burrito. that would've been the cherry on top! **great options for vegetarians! PARKING it's in a huge nugget market parking lot so there's tons of parking close or nearby. AMBIANCE super cute and industrial decor inside, think modern garage with a flair. SEATING plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for those cooler days and nights. we sat outside (in 90 degree weather), and the patio covering made it really enjoyable!
looking forward to coming back to try some dogs and burgers! 4.5 stars, way to go all...
