This was my first time visiting, and I was immediately impressed. I arrived around 1:05 p.m. and was greeted by a friendly host who was busy wiping down tables. When I mentioned it was my first visit, she kindly guided me to the counter to place my order. I went with the Chicken Pho and a Sprite, and the total was just over $20. Wanting to enjoy the afternoon, I decided to sit outside. Just moments later, she brought out my drink and the Pho condiments. I was amazed when my meal arrived only three minutes after that! The speed of the service was truly incredible. As she placed the bowl on the table, I could see the steam rising, a sign of a freshly prepared, hot meal. I also loved that the serving bowls were stainless steel, a nice detail. The food itself was outstanding. The seasoning was perfect, and the chicken was clearly fresh—definitely not the pre-sliced kind. The host checked on me again and even offered a Sprite refill, showcasing the excellent service here. This meal was absolutely worth the price, and I look forward to returning to try something else on the menu soon. Ordered a VN Ice Coffee to...
Read moreWhenever I find a new Pho or Thai restaurant, I use the quality of the spring/urban rolls as the baseline. If a place can’t get those right, it’s all downhill from there. This place has good rolls, and the meals maintain the standard. I love the bao steamed buns (chicken) and my partner loved her chicken noodle soup. Parking is plentiful and the seating was clean. We look forward to coming back and trying more on the menu.
Update: been back here quite a few times since my original review and I’m still loving it here. Some restaurants put too much effort into the decor and wardrobe to try and come off authentic but in the end the food just didn’t deliver. Here, they aren’t trying to pawn off “authenticate” in the outward appearance. They focus on quality of the food and I appreciate it that so much. I hope more people in the area discover this place and keep the...
Read moreWe got there around 11am on Wednesday and they were out of baget to make a bahm me sandwiches, then they were out of calamari... I'm not even sure how can you be out of both so early in the morning. The girls who took the order kept checking their phones for important news from their friends as this is certainly part of their job. Eventually while waiting for our order we were told the bagets arrived and we could order bahm me which we did. I'd rather we didn't order them as meat was clearly from the day or days earlier and tasted chewey and dry. Anyways, we paid over $120 for what we ordered and I would say this was in no way worth the money. We won't be back for sure. ps: Once we got our drinks the girl who brought them did not know where was the coke or root beer etc.. I guess this is a very confusing...
